FOX News today wrote, “Canada’s sick and tired of the U.S. winning. Or at least its sports broadcasters are.” I’m American. I am totally disgusted in the performance of the USA Women’s National Soccer Team.
How is it possible Alex Morgan celebrates with such joy after scoring the USA’s 12th goal during the Women’s World Cup Group F soccer match between Team USA and Thailand? Morgan scored five goals during the match. She brags about this? How despicable!
This was a disgusting performance by USA Women. America is a privileged nation. We have the BEST soccer fields in the world; BEST coaches in the world; BEST training facilities in the world; BEST soccer moms and dads in the world.
We have the BEST female athletes in the world!
Athletes in Thailand would be happy to have a bowl of rice.
Team USA Women disgraced all Americans. Coach Wooden taught us the difference between winning and being successful. The women may have won the match — they definitely failed.
Coach never mentioned winning. He believed a team can lose when they outscored somebody in a game. Likewise, a team can win even when outscored. The athletes on national team serve as representatives of our country and role models for younger generations. They are teachers. They taught the world what it is to be Ugly Americans.

This is like Michael Jordan or LeBron James coming to my basketball camp, HoopCamp.net, and repeatedly dunking on our Special Needs athletes — and then celebrating about it. These women demonstrate they are not champions, rather insecure and greedy publicity seekers.
Mike and LeBron would LIFT my athletes UP so they could dunk. This is how True Champions act.

I will not watch USA Women’s soccer again! After 5-0, the outcome of the match was not in question. Great Athletes throttle back. They play half-speed. They allow the other team to score at least one goal.
U.S. women’s soccer coach Jill Ellis said her players “didn’t consider pulling back because it would disrespect their opponent.” Coach Ellis should be fired. Horrible leadership!
It’s about Being Classy. True Champions CARE about others. USA Women proved they are anything but champions! As a society we have failed to instill the most important qualities in our female athletes — humility, compassion and kindness.
Disgusting display of championship character and sports-womenship!
I recently criticized Lamar Odom for his cheating and poor display of Olympic-level character and demanded USA Basketball require him to surrender his Bronze medal.
Team USA owes the national team of Thailand and our country an apology.
