Never Forget Native Hawaiians Want to Kill You

ClearHealthLife posts this feature about Kanaka Maoli in Hawai’i, because they further a cultural campaign against White people, particularly Americans. Some actually want to hurt those they consider outsiders. Most are truly good, loving and decent people. Many however hope you believe they will hurt you and this perception might deter you from coming to Hawai’i. And, if you do come, maybe you won’t go to beaches or visitor attractions in their areas. This attitude must stop.

For those not likely to harm you, they would not be saddened if you are harmed. They want all the land in these beautiful islands to themselves. They might believe this land was stolen from them. Kamehameha stole the land from the early Polynesian people. He turned these islands into HIS kingdom. Modern activists reject his crimes; they create an “us vs them” narrative and blame you for the failures of their ancestors.

UPDATE 7.16.25: Maui Hate Crime Criminals Get More Prison Time
Kaulana Alo-Kaonohi, 35, Native Hawaiian, was originally sentenced to six-and-a-half years by a Honolulu judge alongside Levi Aki Jr, another Native Hawaiian, after a jury found them both guilty of the hate-fueled violence in 2023. Alo-Kaonohi is serving time for brutally beating a White man, Christopher Kunzelman, with a shovel over a decade ago due to his White race. Kunzelman was left with severe brain damage that placed extreme stress on his marriage and catalyzed a divorce. Three extra years could feasibly be tacked on. Hopefully, the Trump administration won’t tolerate hate speech.

The Hawai’i Innocence Project plans on contesting the retrial to prove that “haole” is not a derogatory term, organization’s co-director Kenneth Lawson said. Larson excuses violence. This is a product of the WOKE agenda in Hawai’i. It’s permissible for non-White people to be violent and break the law. This policy only further division and hatred. “Haole” means “White nigger,” as the slur is only directed to White people, particularly Americans. Frequently it’s expressed as “fucking haole.”

The Kumulipo: A Hawaiian Creation Chant defines “haole” as stranger. Stop the HATE!

UPDATE 6.17.25: Lisa Diaz Furthers HATRED on Kamehameha Day
Lisa Diaz claims to live in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i, from Kailua-Kona. It’s ground zero in the anti-White and anti-USA movement in the islands. Lisa was a friend due to her “liberal” politics. She’s been an outraged opponent of FELON RAPIST 47.

Lisa was a PROTESTOR last weekend on “No Kings” rallies. Ironically, she honors King Kamehameha, and further a post calling British Captain James Cook at “dictator.” Cook was an enlightened ship captain and explorer. Never a dictator. What is wrong with such liberal women? Many have tremendous hatred toward White men and the USA. Their inaccurate and extremist positions have FUELED the MAGA movement.

I respected you. You POSTED falsely about British Captain James Cook. Now you unfriend me. Cook was a COMMONER in classist England. Commoners could not become a captain and direct the UPPER class. Cook (1) CARED about his sailors, (2) taught the world how to make maps, and (3) was EMPATHETIC to cultures his explorers met on their voyages.

Cook could have sent his men to retrieve the longboat. Sailors were generally criminals. He didn’t trust them to handle the matter wisely. He went to ensure PEACEFUL relations. Kanaka MURDERED him !!!

You proved to be a foolish person. So disappointed in you.

Lisa Diaz urges people to vote and claims to stand for peace. Hypocritical

Native Hawaiians STOLE one of Cook’s longboats, and murdered him when he attempted to retrieve the British property peacefully. They boiled and ate his remains. Savagery! Had anyone stolen one of Kalanio’pu’u’s canoes, they would have been beheaded. Don’t steal a horse in the Old West; don’t steal a boat or canoe in the Pacific.

Kamehameha became angry that Ali’i nui Kalanio’pu’u didn’t give him enough land as he passed the reigns of power. Kamehameha then killed his brother and triggered a civil war in the islands.
SEE: King Kamehameha Was a Murderer, not a Uniter

Kamehameha launched his murderous campaign of violence from Big Island. I’m from Kaua’i. We view Kamehameha differently. In 1810, Kamehameha assembled a massive armada off the coast of the Garden Island, “Join my kingdom or die.” Sounds much like our king-wanna-be FELON RAPIST 47 at this time.

UPDATE 5.27.25: The Other Side of the Hatred Coin
Kāhealani Hāmākua  (Kaniho Giminiz) posted a letter from an angry writer, likely a White resident in Hawai’i. Author is upset being called “haole,” which is like calling a person “White nigger.” Author responds calling Haunani Trask “nigger” or “what could be possibly the most insulting — Hawaiian.”

Friends, nobody wins withs such behavior. Life is difficult in the islands. Screaming foul racist slurs at each other will not put more food on your table or help with rent payments. There is enough to go around if we share and life aloha.

UPDATE 5.3.25: Cordean French Demonstrates Kanaka Love & Aloha
“you Lolo fkin HAOLE ‼ Queen Lili uokalani was the last of the Hawaiian monarchy ‼ Shove this 🖕🏾 up your okole sideways.”

Who is Cordean? Claims she’s sassy and divorced. Claims Lili’uokalani was the LAST of the Hawaiian monarchs. Cordean may be a RN, registered nurse, but not much of a Kanaka historian. Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole is considered the LAST PRINCE of the Kingdom of Hawaiʻi. Was elected by residents of Hawai’i and became the delegate of the Territory of Hawai’i to the United States Congress in 1902, and as such, is the only royal-born member of Congress. Kanaka !!! Guess she got that 🖕🏾sideways !!!

Cordean threw more insults my way and then BLOCKED me. This is Passive Aggressive “hit and run.” Shows the weakness of social media. People can hide behind a keyboard and make unfiltered, crude and rude comments about others. “👈🏼 L-O-S-E-R LIBTURD. Get the fuck over it Skippy, Trump will be the POTUS until 2028 & there’s not a damn thing you can do about it ‼‼ Enjoy your next 4 years whining & bellyaching ✊🇺🇸🇺🇸”

UPDATE 3.25.25: Leinani Lopes Threatens Non-Kanaka
Social media reveals true intentions of people. They get behind their keyboard and drop filters about how they really feel. Leinani wrote, “I live on the side where there’s the most Hawaiians. People say this is the worst aside. I agree stay out of our side😂🙌👍OUR SIDE?

Who is Leinani Lopes? She posts that she went to Nanakuli High and intermidate (NHIS), which is on the westside of O’ahu. She currently lives in Nanakuli, Hawai’i, and is from Honolulu, Hawai’i. She claims she is widowed. Our condolences.

I responded to Leinani’s post: “So sad our beautiful islands have become so divided. Kanaka Maoli are good people. No need for this hatred and anger.”

no one hateing or angry 😠 it’s for the implants if you know you know if you’re not kanaka then you don’t know 😂 this is for people don’t know and to stay away from the westside if your so scared and us people on the west side agree with you stay out of the west side 🙏 we love being Majority rules 😂

and why would you be sacred 😂😂😂

and you are part of the problem 😂

why you so threatened by a post to stay out of our side? Because you don’t belong here ??? Or you just wanna be us

I’m very puzzled on why you commented when it don’t concern you at all 😂

unless your a kanaka Maoli you gonna understand… we not the same

That’s why when we let implants move in stuff like that happens division

Leinani Lopes, 3.25.25
you are a biggest example of a privilege, white monkey  monkey, see monkey do
“you are a biggest example of a privilege, white monkey 🐒 monkey, see monkey do”

IMPLANTS? Leinani believes “We let implants move in.” Kanaka let? Kanaka like Leinani believe they are justified in dividing our ‘Ohana. This attitude starts wars in the Middle East; war between Ukraine & Russia; and leads to violence and division here at home. Kanaka claim to believe in aloha. Doesn’t seem to be true. They fail their kuleana.

Leinani Lopes believes she has the RIGHT to THREATEN other people, because she's Kanaka. She wears a "christian" cross. What would Jesus do?
Leinani Lopes believes she has the RIGHT to THREATEN other people, because she’s Kanaka. She wears a “christian” cross. What would Jesus do?

threats of Violence 😂😂😂 bro now you’re gonna play victim just like an implant next time keep your nose out peoples business. Documents take a picture write that shit down

Leinani Lopes, 3.25.25

😂😂😂 Good Now go tell your president Trump 😂😂😂 or the FBI 😂😂 poor excuse of a haole [“haole” is a racist slur that means “White Nigger”]

UPDATE 2.28.25: Constant RACISM Against White People in Hawai’i
Jonay Wiley, from Kahului, Hawai’i, hides behind a keyboard and says what she really feels about White folks, “go back to the mainland if you don’t like it… Hawai’i is diverse.. and haole people like you have ruined it.” [“haole” is a racist slur that means “White Nigger”]

UPDATE 2.17.25: Kanaka Support Criminals
Whether it’s applauding the theft of a British long boat or murder of Captain Cook, Kanaka unfortunately support criminal behavior — as long as it’s directed toward White people or those they do not like. Summer-Lee Yadao is the subject of the 2.16.25 post. Now she’s asking followers to help bail out Wehi … bail set at $2100 means a serious offense by tita Kawehionalani Souza y e palala Samson Souza. “Kānaka standing up for and IN his own land!”

Kānaka standing up for and IN his own land!

UPDATE 2.16.25: ANNUAL Kanaka Joy that They Murdered British Captain Cook
Each Valentine’s Day, extremist Native Hawaiians (Kanaka) express their JOY that Kanaka ancestors murdered British Captain James Cook. Cook did nothing wrong. Kanaka on Big Island stole one of the British long boats, which are critical to a discovery voyage. Without their long boats, captain and crew could not get ashore to replenish food and water supplies or complete their mission.

Kanaka had no moral right to STEAL the boat. Historical records are clear. Cook’s initial contact with Polynesians on Kaua’i in 1778 was respectful and peaceful. Cook’s initial contact with Polynesians in January 1779 on Big Island was respectful and peaceful. The explorers suffered a major storm after departing; returned to the island to complete repairs. Kanaka stole their long boat. These facts are not disputed. Cook attempted to retrieve his property. Kanaka murdered him February 14, 1779.

Summer-Lee Yadao, from Mililani Town, Hawai’i, posted to social media, “What we need to do for all demanding ‘tourists'” — MURDER THEM !!! Don’t ask for another towel or clean linens.

Summer-Lee Yadao urges Kanaka to MURDER “all demanding tourists”

Swiping forwards one to IG page of Adam. I do not publish his full name or link, as it’s hate speech. He writes volumes of anti-American, angry rhetoric about White people, on his social media pages.

In response to the violent and inaccurate description of historical events by Kanaka advocate, Adam, I wrote:

1. Captain Cook was an honorable man. 2. He was a “common” man, not from the Upper Class. 3. It was a scandal that England made him a captain. Common men were not allowed to direct Upper Class men. 4. He was the BEST map maker in the world. 5. He found how to keep his sailors alive … first in British history. 6. He went with landing parties to ensure his “uneducated” sailors did not mistreat local inhabitants. 7. He went ashore when Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) STOLE the ship’s long boat hoping to prevent violence. 8. Kamehameha was involved in the party that MURDERED Captain Cook on Feb 14, 1779.

FACT: The Kanaka Maoli (1) STOLE a long boat. Steal a man’s horse in the Old West, get hung. Stealing a long boat left the crew unable to get to land to replenish supplies or explore. Worse than stealing a horse!

(2) Kanaka Maoli then MURDERED Cook; tore him limb from limb, as he attempted to retrieve the ship’s needed long boat. Your meme claims Kalaniopu’u wanted to RESOLVE the theft diplomatically. All the chief had to do was return the long boat. No diplomacy was needed.

(3) The British told the world about the SAVAGE Kanaka Maoli … THIEVES and MURDERERS. Had Kalaniopu’u returned the boat, there would have been no violence. The British would have returned to speak highly of the HONORABLE Kanaka Maoli.

(4) Remember, one never gets a second chance to make a good first impression. British told the world Kanaka Maoli were savages. The British returned to Hawai’i and COLONIZED the islands, using Kamehameha as their dupe !!!!

(5) This is the FLAG designed by Kamehameha in 1816 showing England COLONIAL RULE over the islands. British Union Jack in upper left corner over the 8 stripes — the 8 major islands of Hawai’i.

NOW, you know the REAL STORY about Captain Cook.

Kingdom of Hawai'i flag DESIGNED BY Kamehameha in 1816. Kamehameha made the Sandwich Islands a colony of Great Britain.
Kingdom of Hawai’i flag DESIGNED BY Kamehameha in 1816. Kamehameha made the Sandwich Islands a colony of Great Britain.

Summer-Lee Yadao responded with hateful attacks on my character (edited later to remove violent comments), “I will never read what you spout as ‘real’ when you’re clearly not in any mental capacity able to comment on what is non-fiction or fiction.”

Ioane Jahn now threatens me: “So again, I say you’re pathetic and I would bet a lot that you’re insignificant in your field and even more ineffective toe to toe … I’d be down to meet you anytime, anyplace for a spar session, you pick the type”

He had written initially (but edited his remarks), “you’re a crybaby and you’re pathetic trying to degrade and intellectually bully somebody while hiding behind credentials that only prove you did some assignments …” He deleted his comments after I posted the link to this record of Kanaka hostility toward White Americans. I had taken a screenshot:

UPDATE 9.2.24: Violence ERUPTING Like Volcano Westside O’ahu
Westside parents are teaching their keiki to hate … but hate doesn’t know restraint or boundaries. Now hate is turning on the local families. ClearHealthLife has been warning about the rising hatred and looming violence.

According to HPD’s account of the Saturday late-night shootings, a 58-year-old man used a front loader to ram multiple cars into his neighbor’s home, where a family gathering was taking place. The suspect then fatally shot three women, ages 36, 34 and 29, and critically injured a 31-year-old man and a 52-year-old woman, who were hospitalized.

Honolulu police have released the 42-year-old Waianae Valley man arrested Saturday night in the fatal shooting of the man who police said used a front loader to ram cars into his neighbor’s house then shot and killed three women trying to flee the rampage.

One of more open local “terrorists” is a young Kanaka woman named Fate Yanagi. Typical local girl … couple kids, no husband. Little money, no useful skills for employment and mad at the world for her personal failures. She wants you to know what she looks like. I feel sorry for her keiki. They don’t have much of a chance to succeed.

Faith Yanagi claims you sound WHITE AS FUCK !!! Faith sounds like a hater and racist.

And here is Faith Yanagi. After teasing fans for months, she reveals herself. She teaches her keiki to hate White people. She blames America and White folks for the struggles she faces in life … she lives in beautiful Paradise of Hawai’i. Millions of people would like to be as fortunate. Faith can only hate!

Fate Yanagi continually announces her hatred toward White people, while self-promoting herself on social media. Wastes lots of time playing on social media; little time invested in developing a skill. Somehow it is your fault.

The saddest part of this tension is that Asians are driving the division, i.e., Yanagi is an Asian name. Kanaka came to the islands from various southern Polynesian islands 1000s or hundreds of years ago. They were simple people who fished and grew small plots of vegetables. To modernize, the kings invited Europeans. Kanaka had no complex trade skills. They needed Europeans to teach them everything.

Kanaka monarchy traded land for roads, electrical and water systems, and the infinite number of products and services required in a complex culture. The Kanaka had no interest in developing these skills. They prefers outsiders, the “consultants,” to do for them. Since the outsiders had the “know how,” the outsiders soon gained political and social power.

Asians came to Hawai’i as laborers. They didn’t have complex skill sets, but different from the Kanaka, they were willing and interested in learning. They rose up in the ranks of plantations and small business. Asians are humble, hard-working, quiet, docile — and willing to keep their mouth shut. Europeans still held racist views toward Asians and blocked many avenues of opportunity. As a result, Asians began partnering with the Kanaka.

Working with Kanaka, Asians began to acquire land and power. Asians told the Kanaka that Europeans were bad, “Join with us. We’ll push out the Europeans.” Didn’t work that way. Europeans continued to amass power. The US acquired Pearl Harbor around 1875. They needed a base mid-point in the Pacific. To protect their military and strategic interests, the US had to ensure the islands never fell to Russia, China or Japan.

Japan attacked in 1941. Imperial Japan killed over 25 million Chinese, 100,000s of Filipinos, turned Korean women into sex slaves, and committed genocide across the Pacific. Without the American presence, Japan would have taken Hawai’i and likely killed all the Kanaka. Japanese prefer to keep their line pure. They do not like “hafu” or people of half-breed. They would have turned Kanaka into slaves.

After WWII, Japanese people increased their presence in Hawai’i. To be successful, they needed to demonize American people and culture. Today, they encourage Kanaka to refer to White Americans as “haole,” (like “nigger” toward Black people), and continue to drive a wedge between Americans and Kanaka.

The greater the division, better for the Japanese and Chinese. Kanaka still view Asians as somehow better than Americans. Today, Japanese primarily and Chinese secondary are buying up all the land and amassing political power. White people are on defensive in the islands and across America.

Asians further this negative behavior toward Americans — more hatred toward White folks, more rewards for Asians. Honolulu, the largest city in the islands of about a million people, is now 70% Asian. Comparatively on mainland USA, Asians make up about 7% of the populations.

Asians will not confront Americans directly. They are not direct people. They quietly and effectively teach Kanaka to hate! Kanaka are looking for someone to blame … they are easily duped by the manipulations of Asians. Welcome to Hawai’i of the 21st century. The powerful want your money — and hope you go home soon. Aloha means both hello and good-bye. No forget go home!

I originate from the Hawai’i island of Kaua’i. Educated on the westside around Native Hawaiian (Kanaka Maoli) villages. Always had warm, loving relations — as the Kanaka on Kaua’i were never defeated in battle by the Tahitian warlord, Kamehameha, who had been raised on Big Island. Kamehameha descendants are mean and rude:

Guy why are you even in Hawai'i?
Fate Yangagi, @carsensmaddah, is a single mother with a couple of kids. Reported she needed welfare assistance and hates on White visitors in Hawai'i. Teaches her keiki to hate.

Warned you! Bystander, 64, killed by stray bullet in Waianae on January 20, 2024 … Native Hawaiians do not want you in their area. Racist anger destroys aloha and is ruining our small island.

Native Hawaiians have threatened to begin shooting at people
Native Hawaiians have threatened to begin shooting at people

Governor Green’s wife, Jaime Kanani Green, tells media that they receive phone calls calling her husband “Fucking haole.” She says Kanaka keiki (children) call him “Fucking haole.” This hate speech is being spread by Kanaka (Native Hawaiians).

Kanaka keiki (children) call Governor Green a fucking haole

Many Kanaka blame the USA and White Americans for their current struggles. There were 800,000+ Kanaka in 1700; due to wars of Kamehameha and disease from outsiders invited to Hawai’i by the monarchy to make money, only 40,000 remained by 1900. USA intervention booted the British in 1843, who were colonizing the islands, and USA protection saved Kanaka from extinction. There are an estimated 350,000+ Kanaka today. Why then do Kanaka teach their keiki to hate USA?

UPDATE 12.16.23: Hawai’i Begging Tourists to Visit. Kanaka Hate Haoles!

Wasn’t USA or White folks who ignited the recent horrific fires on Maui. NOPE! Local officials destroyed historic Lahaina town, incinerated at least 100+ human beings, including keiki, torched over 2,200 structures and displaced more than 6,800 residents.

UPDATE 12.17.23: Buy Racist Hawai’i Products for the Holidays
ClearHealth Life note: Shop Hawai’i claims, “but getting all kine discussion which was point.” If discussion was the point, why does SHOP HAWAI’I DELETE our points on their social media posts? Shop Hawai’i engages and furthers hate speech, not discussion. They are afraid to have discussion.

I’ve traveled to the deep south USA. Common still for ignorant White folks to refer to Blacks as “n*ggers.” They don’t see any harm. Come to Hawai’i, Kanaka think it’s funny, cool or acceptable to call White people “haole.” Racists never consider their racist behavior as racist. Kanaka want to be treated with respect; they do not offer others respect.

There are many excellent places to shop in Hawai'i. Please avoid racist groups! They divide rather than share aloha.
There are many excellent places to shop in Hawai’i. Please avoid racist groups! They divide rather than share aloha.

I complained to the group, and they blocked me for complaining. Their response was simply to attack and ridicule me. Same thing racists in the south do. Racist is as racist does! Anything to make money, right? Unethical and racist group.

From Kumulipo, the Hawaiian Creation Chant, we see “haole” does not refer to White people.

Strangers have fair hair; blonds have skin of white. Kanaka who call White people "haole" are racist

You just sound ignorant is all. Did you even read post or you just see the word “Haole” and get all defensive? Oh btw add “F*CKING” to pretty much anything and its context changes. Relax bro. Nobody hating on nobody accept you posting from ignorant places

You have no clue what you are talking about 😂. You put WAY too much value on word and choose only see negative. When actually haole used in many different ways nowadays. The ones who hate gonna hate no matter what. Our Haole braddah designed these

Kanaka turned “haole” which means stranger into racist slur against White people

These childish people do not know Kanaka history. They wrote, “In Hawaiian, The word Haole pre-dates the arrival of Captain Cook and Europeans. Haole is a person who is not a native Hawaiian.” The word “haole” is defined in Kumulipo and refers to fair-haired strangers. Anyone born in the islands, fair-haired or not, would not be considered a “stranger.” Anyone living in Hawai’i is not considered a stranger. Racist people perpetuate racism.

Much Love to Uncle Nigger or Aunt Chink! Would you respect such content? Kanaka consider this to be funny and charming. Racism is racism!!! Avoid Shop Hawai’i Store. Ignorant people.

Much love to Uncle & Auntie Haole

Remember, the Kanaka, led by Kamehameha, first stole one of Captain Cook’s long boats, and then killed him when he tried to get the boat back. British told the world about the savagery of Kanaka culture. Thieves and murderers! The British turned the islands into a colony as a result.

Shop Hawai’i continues their racist and uncivil behavior. After complaining, they posted more racist merchandise. Anything to make money! They don’t care if they divide people, cause pain or hurt the aloha spirit … they simply want their 13 Pieces of Silver.

Shop Hawai’i apparently believes it is acceptable to refer to Black folks as “niggers” or Asian folks as “chinks” or White people as “haole”

Shop Hawai’i states, “True HAWAIIAN meaning of ‘haole’ is ‘A person not of Native Hawaiian.'” As we’ve shown, their claim is false. Shop Hawai’i does not know Native Hawaiian (Kanaka Maoli) history. They blocked me for complaining about their marketing. Buy from them if you are racist.

Shop Hawai’i DOUBLES DOWN on their “haole” marketing campaign. If only Black folks would not take life so seriously and allow others to make fun of them by referring to them as “niggers.” Or if Asian Americans would not take life so seriously and allow others to make fun of them by referring to them as “slant eyes” or “chinks.” Unacceptable, right? Kind, decent people do not talk about others this way. Staff at Shop Hawai’i believes this is humorous! Their ancestors apparently worked for Hitler burning Jews in concentration camps … “Is what it is! Have fun with it!”

Haole Humor by Haole braddah. Humor kine designs make fun of yourself and not take so serious. Is what it is. Have fun with it.

***If you are a sensitive haole and only think Haole is racist, what better way than to make fun of yourself and take power over one of the multiple meanings of Haole. Take it easy. Most using haole as loose lighthearted slang way, instead of saying Hey! Howz it, my “white skinned” braddah/sistah or Hey! “whitey” Howz it? Instead Hey! “Haoleeee” Howz it?

***If you aren’t so sensitive haole and can have fun and make fun of yourselves then bingo these are for you!

Our Designs are inspired around a people and culture within Hawaii that respect the ‘Āina and choose to embrace Haole as it’s true meaning and an expression of humor and endearment from our Ohana with Aloha. Haole Wear Brand embraces all aspects of the term “haole”. It is what it is.

Yep it’s true. Believe it or not. Love it or hate it. Haoles of today, from all over are embracing the lighthearted meaning of “haole”, as used to describe a “white” person. Choosing to have fun with it and making fun of themselves is proving to have an impactful positive impression on both locals and haoles alike. Taking power away from the negative connotation and giving power to the Aloha Spirit and choosing to see the word “haole” in a new light, in this modern day generation. Haoles even calling other haoles “haole” nowadays.

Shop Hawai’i: Making Money from Hate Speech
Shop Hawaii seeks to make money from Hate Speech
Shop Hawai’i hopes to make money furthering Hate Speech

Due to our pressure on Shop Hawai’i, they are now re-branding their marketing. The label “haole,” as defined by Kumulipo means “stranger,” not White person. Many Kanaka slur White folks by referring to them as “haole,” or stranger or outsider … they create as Us vs. Them division in our islands. Now, Shop Hawai’i claims cool “haoles” can have dual citizenship. To these racist Kanaka, if the White person agrees to be called a racist name, they will be considered “cultured, kama’aina” — otherwise, get the fck out of the islands, right?

Can be local and haole! It’s called dual citizenship 🤣 For the Long-Timers, for the Born ‘N Raised, for the Hawai’i Cultured Kamaʻāina haoles who embrace, who respect, who immerse and identify with the local people of Hawai’i, these are for you!

Here is an example how Kanaka use “haole” to hate and divide. In a conversation about Kingdom of Hawai’i independence, Leinani Menehune Mahoe Pang-Graf claimed, “Our ambassadors who were already on a world tour trying to gain recognition. Americans refused them because of their skin color.”

Leinani Menehune Mahoe Pang-Graf is an uneducated racist, who hates on White Americans

Leinani Menehune Mahoe Pang-Graf is the Owner/Operator at Menehune Soaps, from Waianae, Hawai’i, and married to Eric Graf. Sista Leinani is incorrect. The USA recognized Kingdom of Hawai’i independence in 1826. Kanaka ambassadors were in Europe seeking recognition of independence from the British and French.

Hate speech? Why don’t like being called Haole? You are a Haole… don’t like that word then you can stop using the words like migrants, illegals, foreigners and strangers. Cause that’s what Haole means Haole

Leinani Menehune Mahoe Pang-Graf

Sista Leinani is also incorrect about “haole.” Haole means stranger. She claims people should stop using words like “migrants, illegals, foreigners and strangers.” Misguided Kanaka call ONLY White people “haole,” not people from Asian, Africa, Latin or South America. And, in particular, she uses the hate speech on Americans who are light-skinned.

Americans who visit Hawai’i or live in Hawai’i are NOT migrants, illegals, foreigners or strangers. Leinani proves how Kanaka discriminate and engage in HATE Speech with White Americans.

Kanaka claim they are justified to hate Americans, although Americans first recognized their independence; Americans kicked out the British occupying Hawai’i illegally in 1843; and Americans saved the Kanaka from extinction. Only 40,000 Kanaka remained in 1900. Due to American protection, there are over 350,000+ Kanaka today.

For my work to end this WOKE hated, the arrogant Kanaka told her friend from Waianae, who once studied at Honolulu Community College: “Leimomi Kalanihuia he a scrub drank the kool aid” … the uneducated rely on ad hominem attacks when reason and aloha fails.

Leimomi Kalanihuia he a scrub drank the kool aid

LOCAL incompetence, arrogance and hubris from Hawaiian Electric and government killed islanders in Biblical fashion. Locals again blame outsiders. Kiakona, organizer with grassroots activist group #Lahaina Strong, warned that tourists who flock to golden sand beaches and hotels with swim-up grotto bars and spas offering $200 massages could face backlash from locals who fear they will be priced out of their hometown.

“We made our plea. You decided not to listen. The blood is on your hands.”

Kiakona [StarAd, 12.2.23]

Hawai’i Governor Green and Maui Mayor Richard Bissen demanded the reopening; not outsiders. Just as Kamehameha encouraged tourism, so do modern officials. One West Maui resident wrote on a sign to protest the reopening: “Fresh out of aloha.” Kanaka make a habit of blaming others: “Your fault. Fuck you, haole!”

Warlord Kamehameha was upset he did not inherit enough land when Ali’i Nui Kalaniopu’u passed reigns of power around 1780. SEE ClearHealthLife research: Polynesian Cain vs Abel: Native Hawaiians Teach their Keiki to Hate

In anger, Kamehameha partnered with the British to acquire long guns and cannons, which he then used on Kanaka villages — murdering 10,000s. SEE ClearHealthLife research: King Kamehameha Was a Murderer, not a Uniter

Weapons came with a price — Hawai’i became a British colony. Kamehameha placed the not-yet-unified Hawaiian Kingdom under British rule during British naval expeditions led by George Vancouver from 1792 to 1794. The British government took no formal action to enforce its sovereignty over Hawai’i, until 1843. British Captain Lord George Paulet occupied the Hawaiian Islands for five months because of a land dispute involving a Briton, Richard Charlton.

Kamehameha Partnered with British. Memorialized the Partnership adding British Union Jack to Hawaiian Flag in 1816; and used British weapons to kill Kanaka.

The Paulet affair, also known as British Hawai’i, was the unofficial five-month 1843 occupation of the Hawaiian Islands by British naval officer Captain Lord George Paulet, of HMS Carysfort.

The occupation was ended by the arrival of American warships sent to defend Hawaii’s independence. USA booted the British from North America beginning in 1776; booted the British from Hawai’i in 1843. Why then do Kanaka want to kill Americans? Why do Kanaka teach their keiki to hate USA?

Hauʻoli Lā Kūʻokoʻa Lāhui.ʻOnipaʻa Kākoʻo. (Happy Independence Day. Remain Steadfast) Note the British Union Jack in the Hawaiian flag (below), which was designed by Kamehameha in 1816. In return for weapons, he ceded the islands to the British. USA gave Kanaka freedom.

Lā Kū'oko'a (Independence Day) celebrated on November 28 was one of the first holidays to be observed annually in Hawai'i. It was on that day in 1843, that Hawai'i was formally recognized as an independent nation by the powerful countries of Britain and France. USA forced the British to end their occupation of the Hawaiian islands.

Black professor, Brittney Cooper, from Rutgers University has a similar message for Black folks of hatred against White people, “… the thing I want to say is we gotta take these motherfuckers out.” Cooper ignores that White people ended slavery in America. Students want taxpayers to forgive their student loan debt. Why are we helping these colleges?

UPDATE 10.2.23: Stay Your Ass in Waikīkī
A hundred years ago, the Waikiki area was a swamp. Engineers created the Ala Wai canal, captured and diverted the water, and dried out the land. Waikīkī became a tourism and visitor center. Kanaka from westside do not want you to visit their part of the island. Not much aloha there!

Fate Yanagi wrote on X, “If you come to Hawai’i, stay your ass in Waikīkī. Don’t venture out. Don’t try to act local and go to local spots. This isn’t a second home to you. There is no calling for you to keep returning.”

Just as White racists in the deep south treated Black folks poorly, Kanaka in Hawai’i discriminate and hate on White people. Be careful when visiting Nanakuli, Hawai’i. Home of Kanaka KKK.

Fate Yanagi supports Palestinians (thankfully), but hates on White people in Hawai’i. Darkness can never bring the light. Carsens Maddah teaches her keiki to hate.

UPDATE 2.20.23: J Roselani Baricuatro-Kanīnaus responded. He’s locally educated where he studied Hawaiian Studies and ‘Õlelo Hawai’i at UH Maui College. Worked at Lanai High and Elementary School. The Kanaka teach young Hawaiian keiki to blame, hate and spread a false narrative about America and White people:

He went to Kamehameha Schools Kapalama Campus. They further a false, distorted and perverted history that divides people, and causes much anger and hatred. He actually demands to stop the genocide in Hawai’i:

Here’s what schools don’t teach keiki in Hawai’i. In 1700, there were 800,000+ Kanaka. By 1900, only 40,000 remained. Disease and Kamehameha killed hundreds of thousands !!! Kamehameha turned British long guns and cannons on the Polynesian people. He’s the only one to use weapons of mass destruction on the Kanaka. That was genocide.

SEE King Kamehameha Was a Murderer, not a Uniter

Today, due to USA protection, there are over 650,000+ Kanaka. You’re welcome !!! Now please end your hate !!!

The US Congress signed the 1898 Newlands Resolution that annexed Puerto Rico (still territory today); Philippines (Filipinos declared war; earned independence in 1946); and Hawai’i (Kanaka Prince Jonah Kuhio called for statehood in 1920; became state in 1959).

Local leader Sanford Dole, who was Chief Justice, and supporters ended Hawaiian Kingdom in 1894, by voting to create the Republic of Hawai’i. Dole was the first and only president. USA ended Republic of Hawai’i in 1898, which Dole and supporters applauded. They wanted to end tariffs on sugar cane. The Kanaka lost Hawai’i to local people in 1893 (Dole & supporters) … not USA.

According to oral traditions, the second migration of Polynesians to the Hawaiian islands came from a place to the south called Kahiki, which is often identified as Tahiti. This second migration allegedly replaced some of the older Marquesan settlers and formed the new aliʻi social class. [source]

Communication between the two regions ceased for more than 500 years before the arrival of Captain James Cook, who was already famous for exploring the Pacific islands, including Tahiti. Cook and his crew noted the similarity between the Tahitian and Hawaiian languages; many of his crewmen were able to communicate with the Hawaiians.

On February 14, 1779, the Kanaka killed Captain Cook. Last week, while the world sent flowers, chocolates and romantic gifts to loved ones, modern day Kanaka celebrated the death of “douchebag English explorer” Cook.

Valentine’s Day is boring. Instead, let’s celebrate the anniversary of Native Hawaiian killing the fuck outta douchebad English explorer Captain James Cook, on February 14, 1779.

Honestly we used to worship cap cook in primary school, after I found out he was killed by natives I was like extremely happy lmao -Iozza

Outrageously, the Kanaka are “extremely happy” English explorer Captain James Cook was murdered February 14, 1779. From my conversations with members, it appears they would be happy if someone murdered you as well. The Kanaka are passive aggressive. They won’t kill you intentionally. If someone else does, they will be delighted.

If you come to Hawai’i and get injured, hurt or die, they will be happy. Never forget the Native Hawaiians want to kill you. They blame Americans, White people and the US military for the loss of their kingdom. The Kanaka call this behavior aloha.

Native Hawaiian Elton Freitas

Elton Freitas was a social media friend of mine — until last week. He terminated our relationship during a conversation with local residents over the observation of the death of Captain Cook. Elton didn’t simply unfriend me; he blocked me so there could be no further connection. Elton killed me on social media.

Elton posted a copy of Herb Kane’s Death of Cook painting. There is no dispute that Cook was killed trying to get one of the ship’s long boats returned. Kanaka had stolen the boat. When Cook attempted to secure the boat, the violent, unethical and thieving savages killed many crew members, including Cook.

Elton wrote, “On this day in 1779, English explorer Captain James Cook attempted to kidnap Kalani’opu’u, the ruling chief on the island of Hawai’i.” Elton didn’t mention the theft of the long boat.

Elton continued, “Cook’s decision to order his men to lay hands on our ali’i and to attempt to kidnap him was the fatal error of the English explorer’s final voyage, and led to his death at Kealakekua Bay.” Elton again didn’t mention the theft of the long boat. The Kanaka don’t tell their keiki the truth, the whole truth.

“The Death of Cook, February 14, 1779” by Herb Kawainui Kāne [source: Elton Freitas]

Young Kamehameha fought well during the skirmish. His skills earned him the praise of ali’i nui Kalaniʻōpuʻu-a-Kaiamamao. Kamehameha also got a taste of human blood and liked it. Kamehameha soon acquired modern weapons from the British, and spent the rest of his life furthering war and killing Polynesians to secure his kingdom.

This incident occurred about 244 years ago. Exactly what happened isn’t clear. What is known is the Kanaka stole the boat; Cook attempted to retrieve his legal property; and the natives killed him in Kealakekua Bay on Big Island.

Never Get a Second Chance to Make a Good First Impression

Remember the adage: You never get a second chance to make a good first impression? Let’s apply that rule here. What do you think the English explorers reported to the outside world about the incident? “Violent, thieving savages stole our long boat and killed the captain.” Right?

This incident would set perceptions about Native Hawaiians around the globe. Savages! Uneducated. Couldn’t read or write. Worshipped mythological gods, like Lono, rather than the Christian god and Jesus Christ. Explorers would urge missionaries to return to Hawai’i to “save” the native people.

Imagine instead a more humane, enlightened and diplomatic response by the Kanaka. I posted this recommendation in the discussion with the Kanaka Facebook group, which earned me the lifetime ban:

What if the Kanaka had simply returned the long boat?

What if supreme leader Kalaniʻōpuʻu-a-Kaiamamao had demanded from his subjects to return the long boat? There would have been no skirmish. Cook would not have been killed. The English explorers would have left Hawai’i to tell about the remarkable people they met in the Sandwich islands, as Cook initially named the archipelago.

The world would not have rushed to “save” the Kanaka, but instead would have respected and learned from this advanced and civilized culture. Rather than being characterized as a people who cheat, thieve and murder, they would have demonstrated their commitment to honesty, ethical behavior and respect for life.

Yep! We never get a second chance to make a good first impression.

Block the Troll

One would think standing for peaceful relations between human beings would be applauded in the aloha state. As I said, the Kanaka aren’t peaceful. They claim they are victims; they’re angry and mean. They would enjoy seeing all White people, light-skinned Europeans, maimed, killed or murdered.

UPDATE 9.1.23: Let me show you a recent example. Have been connected to Aolani Le’ahi for some time on social media. Claims to have studied at George Mason University. Her language does not suggest college educated. Claims to live in Honolulu, Hawai’i, and to be from Honolulu, Hawai’i. I told her I would post her comments. Requested a real photo. She refused. Here’s a quick sample of her anger and hatred toward White people. Aolani represents KKK of the Pacific. Aolani’s comments constitute hate speech.

Aolani wrote, “Haole. White skin no breathe. I know it hurts, thats why you keep trying to prove yourself. Haaaaaoleeeee. I love your haole tears. Show it to your students. They’ll laugh at you.”

Haole. White skin no breathe. I know it hurts, thats why you keep trying to prove yourself. Haaaaaoleeeee. I love your haole tears. Show it to your students. They’ll laugh at you.

Aolani was upset last week about an announcement that the City of Honolulu was going to remove the controversial Stairway to Heaven. I explained government did not want to accept responsibility for liability. Another friend of hers agreed with my comment. Aolani began stalking me through messenger. This was her first comment.

Aolani Le’ahi: “I dont even know who you and bliss hair are but you guys can suck each other off because what the fuck are you guys doing on my page? Two haoles sucking each other dicks obviously”

Aolani Leah wants to kill White people in Hawaii

She continued to threaten, disparage and write filth to me. “Go cry your haole self to sleep. Lmfaoooo stop trying to be Hawaiian Go live on some other land you ste (*stole).”

Of course, I did not steal any land. Truth doesn’t matter to Aolani. She hates people with light skin. “You’re haole, you and your people including your government have nothing better to do, jealous of our culture, you guys use every bit of your power to kill off Kanaka and then try to blame it on something. You, yourself would deff kill a brown person if there were no laws today just like your ancestors.”

You, yourself would deff kill a brown person if there were no laws today just like your ancestors.

I tried to have a civil conversation with her. Not possible. Her hatred of White people is too intense. “I literally dont care what you have to say about our history, all i know is your ancestors are traitors, and they still are and so you and modern haoles.”

I wrote, “I live in the 50th state in the USA. All Americans can live here.” Then Aolani began the threats, “Im wont be surprised if you ever slip and die down a mountain here….. Spoken like a true haole. No worries. You probably never go around Kanaka because you’re scared.”

Im wont be surprised if you ever slip and die down a mountain here….. Spoken like a true haole. No worries. You probably never go around Kanaka because you’re scared.

Aolani Le’ahi continued, “You probably never go around Kanaka because you’re scared. I mean, i would be to, if i was a dumb fucken haole like you. If we dont get to you first, the land will. Have a good one haole.”

At this point I offered to meet at a public place, buy her a coffee and talk in person. Hoped a face-to-face encounter would encourage more civility. Aolani refused.

She continues to stalk me. Her last comment, Friday, 9.1.23, “All of your friends are japanese. I doubt you have any hawaiian friends. Anyone Hawaiian or have Hawaiian friends dont act this way to other Hawaiians. I can see right through you. You’re all about being on top. You have this weird ego. Very haole of you. But thats okay. Just let you suffer”

Doubt picture is really her. Maybe a fake person. Could be a Russian or Chinese bot account used to sow discord in our beautiful islands. There are no pictures of her or family on her Facebook page. Kanaka wahine love to post about their family and themselves. Suspicious!

Regardless who this person is, they wrote kindly in 2020. “I saw this quote today: ‘Many of us have been homeless most of our lives because we have not been in places where we were nourished, nurtured and welcomed.’ Whoever needs to hear this, I’m proud of how far you have come and that you are not alone. This is why it is important for us sisters and brothers, to love one another. Love is an endless wonder, a never-ending knowledge, and it is our only solution. I believe in me, I believe in you. I believe that we are not meaningless.

Love one another? The aloha and compassion simply does not apply to White people. That, folks, is Kanaka racism in Hawai’i.

Lex Higashi seems to be the leader of the Kanaka Cancel Culture. She wrote to Luwella Leonardi, “Yep think Elton needs to block this troll he brings no substance and just enjoys spewing his opinions and causing arguments.” You’ve heard my opinion. I believe the Kanaka king should have simply returned the long boat. Radical position, isn’t it?

Elton Freitas responded to Lex Higashi, “I just blocked him. I’m sorry. I should have done that years ago. I try to keep the flat Earth believers, anti mask/vax, and other odd people on the friends list. But yeah. He sure is stirring the pot.” Elton blocked me and disparaged me behind my back.

As I’m not a “flat Earth believer, an anti-mask or vax advocate,” guess I’m just another “odd person” to Elton. Odd? I recommended peace rather than violence and Elton logs me into his “odd person’s list.”

Elton is military. That’s a paradox in Hawai’i. The Kanaka claim the US military led the overthrow of the queen in 1893, have occupied Hawai’i, and committed genocide. Elton served in the military and received a check from the military each month. Hawaiian !!!

Elton Freitas former 94A tech at Hawai'i National Guard

Talk about an “odd person.” Guess hypocrite would be more appropriate. I remember our first conversation when Elton disparaged USA teachers. Appears to hate America, but takes money from America. Welcome to the Native Hawaiian or Kanaka Maoli worldview.

Elton Freitas showing his public smiling faces. Be sure to watch your back.
Elton Freitas showing his public smiling faces. Be sure to watch your back.

That’s why you’re not safe around the Kanaka. Similarly as they feel about Captain Cook, they would enjoy seeing harm come to you. Keep your distance from the natives when you visit. They smile in your face … remember the O’Jays?

All the time they want to take your place

All the time, they want to take your place
The back stabbers (back stabbers)

Back stabbers! This dangerous precedent is growing. Two Kanaka males were recently prosecuted and convicted for hate crimes against a White man on Maui.

After a two-week jury trial, a federal jury in Honolulu, Hawaii, found defendants Kaulana Alo-Kaonohi, 32, and Levi Aki Jr., 33, guilty of a hate crime for their racially motivated attacks on C.K., a White man who was attempting to move into their Native Hawaiian neighborhood of Kahakuloa on Maui.

https://www.justice.gov/opa/pr/two-maui-men-convicted-hate-crimes-racially-motivated-attack-white-man

At trial, the evidence showed that C.K. purchased a house in Kahakuloa and decided to move there with his wife and three daughters after his wife was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis and forced to retire. When C.K. arrived in Kahakuloa, he was harassed and threatened by various Kahakuloa residents who told him things like, “This is a Hawaiian village. The only thing coming from the outside is the electricity,” and “You don’t even belong in Hawaii.”

On Feb. 13, 2014, when C.K. was unpacking his belongings with his elderly uncle, the defendants, who had never met C.K. before, stormed onto his property and demanded that he pack his things and leave, threatening to “tie [him] up and drag [him]” and make him “go missing” if he did not comply. When C.K. replied that he owned the house, defendant Alo-Kaonohi dragged his index finger along C.K.’s jaw and told him, “Your skin is the wrong fucking color.”

Defendant Aki then picked up a roofing shovel and handed it to defendant Alo-Kaonohi, who struck C.K. in the head with it, opening up a bloody wound on the back of C.K.’s head. Later on, after C.K. had already begun packing up his possessions, the defendants attacked him a second time. During that attack, defendant Aki head butted C.K. and struck him in the face with the shovel a second time, giving C.K. a concussion and causing him to lose consciousness. When he came to, the defendants were kicking him in the side—kicks that broke two of his ribs. During the second attack, one of the defendants said, “no White man is ever going to live here.”

“This verdict brings justice and vindication to the victim, a man who was assaulted and nearly killed simply based on the color of his skin,” said Assistant Attorney General Kristen Clarke of the Justice Department’s Civil Rights Division. “The jury’s verdict – and in fact this whole prosecution – reflects the Department of Justice’s commitment to protecting every person in this country from race-based violence, regardless of the race of the perpetrator or the victim. The law applies equally to everyone.”

Below I have attached an additional distorted Kanaka version of the murder of Captain James Cook posted by Alexis Kapualani Lono. Honorable people would have returned the long boat. The Kanaka Maoli aren’t honorable. That’s why they lost the kingdom. The author, Kalani Kalima, claims Captain Cook impersonated the Hawaiian god, Lono. Likely false! Cook had no knowledge of Lono or the Kanaka oral traditions. This encounter was novel.

SEE Happy Birthday Queen Lydia and How She Lost the Hawaiian Kingdom

Distorted Kanaka version of the murder of Captain James Cook posted by Alexis Kapualani Lono

Hau’oli Lā Māhele Kākou!

by Kalani Kalima

Māhele means to aportion like the so-called “Great Māhele” where the ʻāina was split between the King, konohiki, and kamaʻāina but this māhele is in reference to some of our most skilled surgeons operating on the first White male cadaver. These kahuna divided the carcass amongst the few whose esoteric knowledge of anatomy and Hawaiian ritual allowed them access to a once in a lifetime event.

Captain James Cook left the United Kingdom of Britain to observe the passing of Venus from Tahiti. He then went on to search for a southern continent and after failing to do so he turned northward “discovering” Hawaiʻi. He arrives at Kauaʻi and starts to impersonate one of Hawaiʻi’s four male gods, Lono.

Cook receives tribute in the form of foodstuff, supplies, and its most sought after booty….uh booty. Even with the knowledge that his crew harbored some of the worst sexual diseases known to Europeans like syphillis and gonorrhea. Cook forbids the crew to intermingle with the beautiful women but they do get together. Cook also takes a young girl of chiefly lineage even though he was married with 6 children back at home. When Cook leaves Kauaʻi he sees the effects on the people, the diseases spread quickly.

Cook comes to Hawaiʻi and continues the facade. He continues to consume the hospitality, generosity, and natural resources of the aliʻi there. He is mistakenly lauded as the second coming of Lono and lives it up with more treasures from our aliʻi like ahuʻula. Cook fills his ship with more supplies and his coffers also. This is during the Makahiki season, the time of Lono, so many of the coincidences influenced the masses as divine signs like the time of arrival, large sails like the lepa of the Akualoa, circuit around the islands, and the prophesy of returning to Hawaiʻi again.

When Cook leaves Hawaiʻi, his absence is definitely appreciated since his arrival consumed so much of the people’s food and resources. Cook encounters a storm and returns back to Kealakekua but it’s no longer the Makahiki but the time of Kū, God of consuming resources. Cook foolishly leaves a cutter unattended and it falls into the hands of Palea (Waimānalo, we know a few.) Palea graciously accepts the skip as he did the second coming of Lono as a devine blessing and skillfully dismantles it like a child does his gift on Christmas morning. Cook finds out that his cutter is missing and accuses one of our own of thievery. He decides to do what he did in Tahiti and that is to kidnap the current head of state, Kalaniʻōpuʻu, and to hold him captive until a ransom was received.

Cook orders his men to launch their diabolical plan. They land and Cook feigns friendship while trying to lure Kalaniʻōpuʻu onboard. As they walk through the people, some of the aliʻiwahine start to wail. Our king, His Hawaiian Majesty, Kalaniʻōpuʻu stops and sits. Cook, sensing that his plan is unravelling forgets himself and tries to place his hand on our aliʻinui.

This is where, as the youth of today would say, “shit just got real.” As the sergeant of arms and the secret service would spring into action to protect the POTUS, our warriors entrusted to the safety and wellbeing of our aliʻinui did the exact same thing. The attempted kidnapping and ransom ended in many of our people dead and injured, they are the ones that we should remember on this day. Let us all remember the ultimate sacrifice that they paid in defense of our aliʻinui.

Cook died because he couldn’t swim. Had he been able to swim he would’ve jumped into the ocean like some of the other seamen. Cook died because his plan didn’t work out as planned like it did in Tahiti. Cook died over the loss of a small boat. Had he known that this was his last moment on earth he would’ve let that skip go. But this incident allowed our very skilled to dissect his corpse, to divide it with the same honorary rituals afforded our chiefs. We stopped the spread of disease, we were the antidote to the scourge that ravaged our maoli people.

So to everyone out there in FB repeat after me,

“Captain Cook, wasn’t Lono, wasn’t Pono, wasn’t ʻOno!”

“ʻO ke aka kā ʻoukou e nā akua! ʻO kona ʻiʻo kā mākou! Manuia!”

  1. I have read many of your post on our culture….your not from Hawai’i. your not. stop saying you are. it is easy to tell.

    1. Aloha e Keao ~ yes, I’m from Hawai’i. Ana Vee sings in her hit song Hawai’i, “Best to be born and raised, local grown.” What arrogance! Should KKK-types on mainland say that to newcomers? America doesn’t support such discrimination. Hawai’i is born in aloha. Do you extend aloha to all people? Kanaka Maoli even have a hateful slur for White people … “haole.” Kanaka don’t do that to Asians. That’s like calling a Black person “N*GGER.” Society doesn’t accept such behavior. Why do Kanaka engage in such hateful rhetoric and behavior?

      1. …it says blessed to be…not best….if america doesn’t support discrimination….why use our culture for tourism? why be rascist to dark skinned or asian. or the lgbtq, or disabled? AAAGAIN. haole isn’t a slur, it means foreigner

      2. Aloha e Keao ~ appreciate this discussion. Looked up words to Hawai’i. You’re correct. Blessed, not best … “Blessed to be born and raised local grown.” However, why is one BLESSED to be born & raised Hawai’i? Why not California, Oregon or another state? There is an air of superiority from those born here. The inference is those NOT born here are NOT blessed. We are all equal, right?

You asked, “Why use our culture for tourism?” Why ask me? I didn’t bring tourists / visitors here. Monarchy started this trend. Why? As I said, the kings & queens were land rich, but cash poor … kind of like farmers in many USA locations. They have a lot of land, valuable land, but have no money. Kings wanted to be part of the outside world … Kamehameha wanted long guns and cannons; he wanted war canoes. How did he pay for these expensive war weapons? Flower lei or shells? In part, he depleted ALL the sandalwood in the kingdom to pay for goods & services the monarchy wanted.

The monarchy wanted fine Europeans clothes; they wanted large plantation homes. They wanted to send their keiki to expensive foreign schools and universities. They wanted to travel around the world. What paid for their extravagant lifestyle? Kalakaua wanted the ‘Iolani Palace. He wanted electrical lighting. The palace had electric light before the White House. TAXES on local people; TAXES on visitors; paid for these expensive goods & services.

Why be racist? I’m not. I object to ALL racism. Have you read Kumulipo? Haole is defined therein. Kumulipo is the Kanaka history. I have European roots, light skin. Was LEGALLY crossing street a couple weeks ago. Kanaka guy honked at me, “Get out of the way, fucking haole!” I’m not a foreigner. His statement is HATE speech; it is a racist comment.

      3. were blessed because well…look around. out of all the places in the world, right in the middle of the pacific. even better with the culture we do, the values we do. out of alllll the places in the world. right here in beloved hawai’i is where god put us. if you think about it…it’s a blessing. plus what we know, it’s powerful. tourism wasn’t because of the monarchy, it was because of the land. if it was because of the monarchy, pretty sure tourism wouldn’t be so big because of the overthrow part. when the guy honked you, you should of just broke out your pidgin and said “ey, I kama’aina braddah. dis both our home”. not retaliate using this app.

I do not want you responding anymore…your not a good kama’aina. you make yourself feel haole and because of that, your acting haole. nuff! you were born and raised hawai’i, nuff already….

      4. Aloha e Keao ~ you wrote, “I do not want you responding anymore…your not a good kama’aina. you make yourself feel haole and because of that, your acting haole. nuff! you were born and raised hawai’i, nuff already….”

Yet your submitted additional comments. If you pau, you pau! Apparently you not pau … LOL. I don’t respect you when you use racial slurs. Calling me White Nigger is not respectful. Be better!

  2. I have seen your comments on our culture…your not from hawai’i. stop acting, it’s easy to tell. your rude, your uneducated ,and your articles are nearly always biased, stop…..

    1. Aloha e Keao ~ appreciate your feedback. Yes, I am from Hawai’i. My articles post ACTUAL comments from REAL Kanaka Maoli. Why do you tolerage such hatred toward others — especially White folks? I’ve spent time in the deep south USA. Kanaka sound like KKK. Kanaka treat White people like KKK treat Blacks and Jews. Such behavior is not acceptable!

      1. thanks for the appreciation, but your articles sound biased. your images of “kanaka” (idk if those are fake) might be true, then again, those guys just being dodo. I do not have a “hatred” against white people, but I do find disappointment in those who are rude, or don’t know. again…aloha is a 2 way street….too many white tourist act so rude….it’s a two way street. if such behavior is unacceptable…why are your articles so rude?

      2. Aloha e Keao ~ you wrote, “your articles sound biased.” Our articles are posted to LEAD people to THINK and have discussion. We post what we observe. Sometimes we criticize political officials, sometimes men or women, and in this case, we are criticizing Kanaka for demonizing White people and America.

You wrote that you do not have “hatred against White people.” Good. Nobody should. Nobody should have hatred toward or against anyone due to their skin color, sexual orientation, sex/gender, national origin. You and I agree 100%.

And, like you, I do not like rude people. I stand with you to criticize rude people. I have seen White people acting rude, Asian people acting rude, Kanaka people acting rude … ALL humans fail at times. However, we fail further when we GROUP people together due to the failure of a few or one.

If you find our articles to be “rude,” good … we offer anyone an opportunity to criticize me or others who write the articles. You found our articles on Kanaka history to be rude, it appears. You have expressed your frustration. We are talking — and when people are talking and having dialogue, they learn to respect each other. Our articles are working. They are forcing dialogue and development of understanding between people. Thank you for having the COURAGE to respond.

      3. we didn’t demonize anyone. captain cook killed across the pacific when he knew the impacts of his diseases. american illegally occupied us. why would anyone be fine with that? we aren’t, we don’t like it + it’s an obvious truth. yours are half truth, then they get biased. and by biased I mean one sided which leads it to be false. thats not good….if you stand people who are against rude…your standing against yourself.. I am not criticizing kanaka…I am criticizing you rn. it’s not right…it’s not pono..it’s not aloha…..it’s just not good

      4. Aloha e keao ~ you mentioned Captain James Cook, one of the world’s greatest explorers. You should study his history. You have grossly mischaracterized him … as you are emotional and uninformed. There is a famous adage, “One never gets a second chance to make a good first impression.”

Cook first encountered Kanaka on Kaua’i around 1778. Seems to be positive by all accounts. He encountered Kanaka on Big Island in 1779. Kanaka first stole one of Cook’s long boats, which is like stealing a horse in the old west … hanging offense! Cook led a party to get the boat returned. If you study Cook, you’ll find he generally led his men under such circumstances. He wanted to ensure his men behaved properly. He was wise and compassionate leader.

Kanaka killed Cook February 14, 1779 … Kamehameha was one of the Kanaka who beat Cook to death. What do you think the British told the world about Kanaka after this incident?

“Beware Kanaka. They are thieves and murderers! Can’t trust ’em. They are savages.” Yep! Never get a second chance to made a good first impression. Kanaka today celebrate the murder of Captain James Cook each Valentine’s Day. Insane!!!

  3. I forgot to talk a few mishaps in the begginning. you said that they don’t teach us that the population went from 800k to as little as 40k. yes…they do

    1. Aloha e Keao ~ not sure the reference here … let’s agree. Around 1700, estimated population of Kanaka Maoli was 800,000+; by 1900, due to wars of Kamehameha and disease, Kanaka population collapsed 95% to about 40,000. Similarly, indigenous tribal population fell some 95% during this time in North America due to war with European settlers and disease.

However, due to USA protection beginning in 1898, Kanaka population has rebounded and now flourishes with an estimated 650,000+ Kanaka living in Hawai’i or USA today. You criticize and blame USA. Without USA protection, Kanaka would have gone extinct and disappeared from the face of the planet. That’s the Truth, Ruth!

      1. bro…kamehameha didn’t kill 250 thousand people…it is estimated that was wars took just over 10 thousand people, 3 thousand just from himself. it was the rest that disease took. for those of the america’s same thing. a good handful was by battle but the major was through disease. US protection? from what, they were taking us over for it’s own power, not for Hawai’i. how do you know if the US is actually responsible for our population regrowth? it isn’t. and HA, no, we wouldn’t of already gone extinct. idk who ruth is, my name means cloud. whats your name 😉

      2. Aloha e Keao, you wrote, “bro…kamehameha didn’t kill 250 thousand people.” Have no idea. Wrote that in 1700 there were an estimated 800,000+ Kanaka; by 1900, only 40,000 remained. Kamehameha’s wars and disease crushed the Kanaka. Statement is true! I don’t estimate actual numbers. Nobody knows. Battle at Iao Valley killed so many that waters backed up and the river ran red with blood. Good job, Kamehameha!!! No outsiders or foreigners ever murdered so many!!!

What you’re missing is Kamehameha eradicated the warrior class of males in the islands. Men learned to get on their knees, bow and prostrate before the king. Kamehameha neutered men in the islands. Only wussies, not warriors, were left. And in 1887 and 1893, there were no warriors to defend the monarchy!!! Kamehameha ruled by fear. Fear still dominates the islands today.

That’s where you and I differ. I’m an American. The 1st Amendment guarantees my right to SPEAK OUT against my government. Try that with Kamehameha. Death! The 2nd Amendment guarantees might right to take up arms against my government. Kamehameha did not allow that. Again, death! You learned to bow; I learned to speak out and stand up for rights of The People. We’re not the same.

You are welcome to provide explanation for growth in Kanaka today. You speculate. I simply provide facts. In 1900, there were about 40,000 Kanaka. Today, an estimated 650,000+ thrive in Hawai’i and mainland. And, that’s the Truth, Ruth!

  4. you also said that captain cook took ali’i aimoku Kalaniopu’u hostage because his “cutter” was killed and missing. no a longboat was missing, and he wanted it back. he also expected the kanaka to be afraid when he took the ali’i aimoku. but obviously it was the very opposite. don’t claim lies

    1. Aloha e Keao ~ you wrote, “you also said that captain cook took ali’i aimoku Kalaniopu’u hostage because his “cutter” was killed and missing.” Don’t believe I ever wrote this … however, it is undisputed that Kanaka stole one of Cooks’ longboats. Cook attempted to get the boat returned. Kanaka beat him to death! Savage thieves and murderers. Boat was not theirs! Kanaka believed it okay to steal property of others. You claim outsiders stole Kanaka land — yet you do not criticize Kanaka for stealing. We call this hypocrisy!

      1. ho, “savage thieves”. and yet, who’s the one who tried taking the king? we protect the king. you mess with an ali’i, you’d be killed. that was the custom. just as the custom of putting to death or sentencing to life of someone who tries to kill royalty all around the world. yes, the boat wasn’t theirs. then again, they didn’t care about the boat, they needed the nails for weapons. why does a boat have the same value of the taking of a chief? it doesn’t. the land is our home, and our aina, we belong here, it is the same status as the kanaka.

      2. Aloha e Keao ~ immature response! You justify STEALING … then justify MURDER. These reasons are exactly why we write our stories about Kanaka culture. You haven’t studied history. Had you researched Captain Cook and crew, you would have learned they regularly brought lots of trinkets and items to trade with indigenous people on their voyages. They would have traded nails, if asked. British sailors would have loved an exquisite shell necklace or feather cap, for example. Instead, SAVAGE Kanaka stole a precious long boat. Wise People would have simply returned the stolen item. Kanaka and British would have had a peaceful, aloha encounter … and Captain Cook would have reported to the world how honest, honorable, peaceful and loving the Kanaka were.

Instead, crew reported the SAVAGERY, THIEVING and MURDEROUS behavior. That’s how the world learned about the Kanaka Maoli. One never gets a second chance to make a good first impression. Easy to colonize and conquer a people after they behave inhumanely! Kanaka acted like animals; they were treated as such after this incident.

  5. I’m just gonna say this right now. I read your reply oon the battle over bones. your arguments are terrible…they are. idk why you created a misleading name only to complain about all other type of stuff then be white prided. yes, you are very white prided. and by that I mean you make like white people are the greatest in the world…no…that is not true…no ethnicity has that status. no race is greatest of great, and as far as the world knows, it’s caucasian that has commonly obstructed a lot. I don’t need to argue with you because your arguments for your claims are not very good and over half of the stuff you say isn’t even legit….then you said you didn’t wright parts of this website….it’s your website. not worth it with you bro

    1. Aloha e Keao ~ you wrote, “yes, you are very white prided. and by that I mean you make like white people are the greatest in the world.” I don’t believe in grouping people by race. What does “White” mean to you? I’m not White. My roots are from Africa. My family has had a long journey. We are part of many different cultures. I enjoy learning culture. My hope is to end misunderstanding by further discussion. I have enjoyed chatting with you. It is MY hope that you do many GREAT THINGS in your life!

      1. in actuality all our roots are in africa but then we became different…that was a horrible defense for yourself guy….with what you have majorly told me, you are probably of caucasian ancestry. the only misunderstanding going on is the fact that when I read your articles they will say some facts then they’ll go into a biased opinion…especially untrue. I am being educated in hawaiian studies…….you definitely know little.

      2. Aloha e Keao ~ you stated, “in actuality all our roots are in africa but then we became different.” Why do you think we are different? We’re ALL humanoids. We’re all from the same Tree of Life. You apparently choose to see differences in people. I see how we are ALL the same. Regardless of the outside covering, we ALL bleed red blood. We are cousins in one large family. You prefer to label everyone, such as, “I’m Kanaka. You’re a haole.” You divide.

You concluded, “I am being educated in hawaiian studies…….you definitely know little.” I know absolutely nothing. However, I’m educated in many things. My PhD work is political science. Talk to me about what you “know” after you complete your graduate degree. I’ll wait … LOL

      3. …… you’ve lost common sense…..you can’t even acknowledge what I’m even talking about 😐
if you choose to see the differences, maybe you’ll understand why no races customs are the same. you…are a very big representation of division as you called kanaka savages and in some way claim that we are weak…we are failures….and we are cruel……buddy, claiming that just gets dirt in your eye, which gets you to blindly get dirt in others eyes….NUFF ALLLREEEADY

  6. comment from you at November 28, 2023 at 11:51 am……yup…. again, biased, one sided reasonable. does not read complicatedly or two sided. yes, they did bring trinkets and yes, they also brought diseases. yes we did kill captain cook, and yes, it was because he tried taking the KING. yea, the crew did report that, but historians learned captain cook tried stopping a fight but one of his men shot and killed one of the ali’i (not kalaniopu’u), and captain cook was killed. yea…you can never redo a first impression…..if you do, don’t mess up after that either. both ways, got deficiencies. can you be honest about yours?

    1. Aloha e Keao ~ “yes, they also brought diseases.” You recently lived through COVID pandemic. What did we do? We limited group activity, physically distanced and worked to be extra clean. Government instructed us to take these measures. We didn’t BLAME those who brought the viral pathogens.

Nothing prevented Kanaka kings & queens from stopping outsiders from coming here. They could have limited group activity or housed outsiders in special villages. Kings & Queens KNEW disease was killing Kanaka. They still allowed interaction. STDs were horrible problem … because Kanaka women swam naked to meet arriving ships. They traded their bodies and sexual pleasure for trinkets … essentially prostitution.

It was the missionaries beginning in 1820 who demanded this promiscuous behavior stop. That’s why they halted hula. Women danced topless in front of sex-crazed sailors who had been at sea for many months. Kanaka leaders had no problem with this interaction. Missionaries were horrified! Kanaka men had no respect for Kanaka women. They allowed the prostitution. Savages!!!

      1. …why are you living by opinion? if it was the victors who would decide what about what, then wouldn’t you think the people of hawai’i wouldn’t know our own history? congradulations to your great grandfather…but guess what…he was a good man….a lot of people in the united states who were supporters of slavery weren’t too good. nobody said all white people, just white people. you claim white people fought to end slavery? ok, true, but do you know who begged to stop being slaves? how do you write the history of hawai’i? I’m guessing you don’t like hawaiian sovereignty, however, idk. all I have done is state facts. you said kamehameha was responsible for killing “hundreds of thousands” of hawaiians…he only killed between 10-5 thousand in his wars. 3k of which, however were from himself. no…you are spreading a biased notive on hawai’i…you are…you truly are…I read comments on the kamehameha article. and yes…you do hate the hawaiian culture..you do…that is very very obvious

      2. Aloha e Keao ~ you wrote, “you said kamehameha was responsible for killing “hundreds of thousands” of hawaiians…he only killed between 10-5 thousand in his wars.” As I’ve stated, have no idea the exact number of HUMAN BEINGS killed by Kamehameha through his wars and disease. Kamehameha INVITED outsiders … they brought disease, yet Kamehameha I – V continued to urge outsiders to come to the islands, which killed more and more and more!!! Population dropped from 800,000+ to 40,000. Kings and queens are responsible for this collapse. Number 1 Job of government is to PROTECT the people. Kamehameha and kings failed the people!

You wrote, “nobody said all white people, just white people.” When you write, “White people did xyz …” you are talking about ALL White people. If you write, “Some White people did xyz”, you are NOT talking about ALL White people. You still haven’t defined White people. Who are White people?

You concluded, “and yes…you do hate the hawaiian culture.” That is a false accusation. I don’t hate. I am criticizing bad behavior of some Kanaka; I am criticizing you for the continued use of a racist term when speaking about light-skinned Americans.

Slavery: horrible practice. You wrote, “a lot of people in the united states who were supporters of slavery weren’t too good.” The Bible mentions slavery. Moses freed the Hebrew from Pharaoh’s enslavement. And, understanding history, we realize that some Black folks started slavery. Millions of light-skinned people in America, England and France ended the immoral practice.

  7. your no kama’aina. you are most certainly the mind of a foreign one. you don’t care for the word haole, but it’s literally all that it means…foreign…different…no two races are the same, accept that.

    1. Aloha e Keao ~ you wrote, “you don’t care for the word haole, but it’s literally all that it means…foreign.” LOL … you still haven’t researched the label, but why use it then? When you see a Japanese person, you refer to them as Japanese. They’re foreign. Kanaka use haole to refer to White people. And it’s frequently used as “FUCKING haole.” That’s a racial slur. A couple men from Big Island were recently convicted of a hate crime for speaking this way.

How do you know who is a foreigner? Do you check a person’s passport before name calling? Or do you see light skin and call them haole? That behavior is racism.

      1. it literally means foreign….. yes, you can refer to them as japanese, as I can refer to you as white or caucasian…but your both still haole. your both still foreign. that’s not a slur, it’s seen as that way but it isn’t. and no, it’s not ok either. they were convicted of beating a man…..not saying haole…yes they shouldn’t of beat the man, that was dodo of them. all I need to do inorder to know someone is foreign from hawai’i…is watch….and listen…and depending on what I see or hear…you should know by then…it’s easier here in hawai’i, thats obvious.

      2. Aloha e Keao ~ you wrote, “yes, you can refer to them as japanese, as I can refer to you as white or caucasian…but your [sic] both still haole.” You can visit O’ahu. Some 70% of residents are Asian. If you walk around calling everyone haole, you won’t be respected or taken seriously. Some will likely refer to you as animal or savage. Up to you!

      3. dang, you really are racist aint ya? ever heard of mixed? ever heard of the term kama’aina? oh well

      4. Aloha e Keao ~ the term kama’aina means Children of the Land, and describes Hawai’i residents regardless of racial background, as opposed to Kanaka which means a person of Native Hawaiian ancestry. Not really complicated.

  8. now, let me ask this, are you writing this in the eyes of the people of hawai’i, the eyes of a foreign one or are you trying to look through both? I think we already know the answer. a hui hou, Imma go finish my essay on what led to the overthrow of hawai’i and don’t worry, it’s fact checked too.

    1. Aloha e Keao ~ I’m a historical researcher and political scientist. As professionals, we try to write in a neutral fashion, while admitting our personal cultural biases. As I have one foot in local Hawai’i culture and another from USA mainland, I attempt to provide an accurate account of history. Kanaka express their biased version. I seek to provide balance. Calling people “haole” is not professional or enlightened, just as KKK-types who call Black folks “niggers” aren’t respected. Reveals a deep seated animosity and insecurity.

Why not publish your essay about the events that led to the overthrow on our blog? Your teacher should give you extra credit.

      1. neurtral faishion? historical teacher? oh please…. if you listened to the correct people maybe you would learn that the CORRECT ones aren’t biased. if you actually knew the stories of kanaka you would know that he was said to be a killer of chiefs in the beginning. he killed so many that iao did turn to blood yes. and at the same time we also know his final words and the final words told to him. kamehameha – “only now you tell me that kahekili was my true father! my borthers death was needed not. they could of rule the other islands while I ruled hawai’i ” kame’eiamoku- “that is not a good thought. if that would of been, the islands would still be at war, now with you as their only ruler, the kingdom is at peace”. calling people haole is literally just the truth. you have a haole mindset, you have a foreign mindset, it’s true, and shouldn’t be taken as racist. a tahitian chief was called haole because well…he wasn’t from hawai’i, he was from kahiki (tahiti). when you speak of insecurity, i know yours. I just don’t know what happened? who harrassed you in waimea huh? is it really worth taking it on 600 thousand people? I don’t needa post anything on YOUR BLOG. there’s no point with proving anything to you since there’s already proof everywhere else 😉

      2. Aloha e Keao ~ you wrote, “if you listened to the correct people maybe you would learn that the CORRECT ones aren’t biased.” As you are a young student, let me share one TRUTH with you. We are ALL biased … we form our opinions based on our personal worldview and experiences. Nobody has complete truth. We all have part of truth. And by dialogue & understanding, we increase our truth and respect about the world and each other.

You claim I have insecurities. Certain you are right. Likewise, you have insecurities. Both of us also have strengths. That being human — strengths and weaknesses. As a former pro athlete, I worked to better my weaknesses and fortify my strengths. We all should do that.

You added, “is it really worth taking it on 600 thousand people?” I’m not taking on anyone. I write to encourage dialogue and further understanding. This isn’t US v THEM. This action is about making a Better WE !!!

You finished, “There’s no point with proving anything to you since there’s already proof everywhere else.” You have provided NO proof. History is about opinion. You’ll learn that as you continue to research. Keep working hard. Hope you write some outstanding essays! Good luck!

      3. history isn’t an opinion, you shouldn’t rewrite what truly happened, thats FOOL-LIAH! fact, haole means foreigner. proof? here ya go- https://hilo.hawaii.edu/wehe/?q=haole (I do need to note, that in the begginning it will have the most used term first, however, it will move on to say “formerly any foreigner; the reason it says formerly is because of the fact that the majority of those who are haole who come to the islands are caucasian”. I bet you’ve researched…you just don’t care. whats worst then ignorance…your arrogance….yea, I done with you. your pretty pretty sad ngl. this whole website is a waste of your time. trust me…your gonna attract a lot of people who will look at this and go “who does this guy think he is and what in the world is he saying”. this is the final message I’ll respond to, everything else is just gonna make me laugh or make me wonder why you..yea why. and yes, you are pretty big on pro caucasian events and negative to the other side. especially kanaka. and for you to of LIVED HERE, pff, idk who you. and looking at your type of biasdness and articles….god doesn’t know you either. good luck to you

      4. Aloha e Keao ~ happy to see you’re researching. From your UH source, which cites Kumulipo: Hānau ke poʻo haole, he haole kēlā, born was the stranger’s head, that was strange. Haole means “stranger,” not foreigner. See! You’re learning. And haole does NOT mean White person.

Thus, the term is incorrectly used today: White person, American, Englishman, Caucasian; American, English. See! You wouldn’t refer to a Japanese or Asian person as haole. And calling White people haole is racist. Just like calling a Black person nigger. Kind people don’t label and slur others.

You concluded, “god doesn’t know you either.” How do you know? Are you god? Do you speak for god? Talk about arrogance! Talk about ignorance! For your information, I do not believe in god or any gods. Did the Hawaiian gods save the Kanaka or kingdom?

      5. …maybe you gotta read more…you are blind…very blind…….foreign ones…are different..different tends to be strange when it’s not like you. it is technically incorrectly used yes…..but then if you think about it, those things are still foreign…. yes I would refer to a asian person as haole if they aren’t born in hawai’i. those born in hawai’i are kama’aina. no it’s not racist… you just think it is. ALRIGHT, HAVE A GOOD LIFE, BYE 😀

  9. history isn’t about opinion, it’s about facts, and what we can do with those, YOU, DO NOT USE THEM CORRECTLY. I don’t think a high schooler would need to show facts to someone who claims to be a historical professor…..

yes, we do tend to be biased…but you can’t be biased with history, history is just facts. now, you can lie about those facts, which is what you are doing…but you can’t opinionate on them. your strengthening spreading biasdness against something you hate?

    1. Aloha e Keao ~ you wrote, “history isn’t about opinion …” Well, my young scholar, you might need to review more history. Some have said, “it is the victor who writes the history and counts the dead.” Others claim, “In all revolutions the vanquished are the ones who are guilty of treason, even by the historians, for history is written by the victors and framed according to the prejudices and bias existing on their side.”

How will the world remember events of Oct 7th in Israel and subsequent war in Gaza. Who is the aggressor? Who is the villain?

Let me provide another example. We frequently hear that White people in America supported slavery of Black folks. Yet my great grandfather was awarded the Medal of Honor as a union soldier at 18 years of age for leading the charge in the Siege of Vicksburg. What then is the true history? White people did have slaves; White people did fight to end slavery. How do you write the history of America?

And, what FACTS have you provided in this discussion? I’ve heard a lot of your opinion. You have not provided many facts. You concluded, “your [sic] strengthening spreading biasdness [sic] against something you hate?” Seems like YOUR OPINION to me!

  10. Damn, I wanted to cry when I saw that I didn’t make the list with my picture above but do all the same things. Lol just last month I had my son and his school protest on the day of annexation “a’ole au he ‘amelika, he keiki o ka ‘āina ia’u”. Teach em young, we are NOT ameriKKKans. It’s time for them to pack up their people and their stuff and take them back to ameriKKKa. What’s right is right and wrong is wrong.. the annexation was illegal, immoral and we deserve the right to deport these ameriKKKans back home like they do other people.

    1. Aloha ~ it’s sad and immoral that you teach your son a false history. For that reason, ClearHealth Life continues to provide the factual narrative, hoping to bring peace between people. Your anger and indignation is unjustified — not pono! The only one who ILLEGALLY annexed the islands was Kamehameha. There were many Polynesian communities in the islands. People had come from many different island chains. They were living freely. Wanting to be left alone.

Kamehameha was involved in the killing of Captain James Cook 1979. Prior to this incident, he was considered a gentle, peaceful man. He got a taste for blood and battle. When Kalaniopu’u passed power, mostly to his son, Kamehameha became angry. He felt he deserved more. Kamehameha ceded Big Island to the British to acquire British long guns, cannons and tactical training. He turned on the Kanaka. He launched a 30-year war to unify the islands under his rule; concluding in 1810. He designed the Kingdom of Hawai’i flag in 1816, including the British Union Jack in upper left corner. Kamehameha made the kingdom a colony of England.

If we fast forward, USA first officially recognized kingdom independence in 1826. USA had no love for the British. In 1843, USA warships pushed both Britain and France from the north Pacific and the kingdom, known today at Sovereignty Restoration Day: Lā Hoʻihoʻi Ea

In 1887, local Honolulu Rifles challenged King Kalakaua. They represented local businesses and large land owners, who were upset with the king’s lavish spending and high taxes. They demanded a new constitution, which made the monarchy ceremonial in nature — as England had at the time; as they do today. The agreement provided that the legislature would govern the tiny kingdom. Kalakaua signed. The Bayonet Constitution became the law of the land. The king didn’t want to fight or possibly die for the Kanaka. He enjoyed his life of privilege, singing songs, and throwing exquisite and expensive parties. He continued until his death in 1891.

Kalakaua’s sister, Lydia, had been upset with her brother over the 1887 constitution. She assumed the throne as Queen Lili’uokalani, and began making plans to undo the agreement. She wanted more power for the Royal family. In January 1893, she announced her intentions. Business owners, large plantation owners were not going backward. To them, time of kings & queens was over. The American revolution of 1776, French revolution 1789, had changed the course of world history. Participatory government was the modern way. People around the world were not going back; people living in Hawai’i were no different.

Lydia had miscalculated. She didn’t have a large standing army; didn’t have many political allies. She challenged a powerful group of local owners, people who had been invited to live in the islands long ago by the monarchy, and who had invested billions (today’s dollars) to provide roads, electricity, water systems, services, and the infrastructure of a modern, global economy. They were not going backward into monarchy! The Committee of Thirteen arrested the queen.

In 1894, local people created the Republic of Hawai’i, and selected Kingdom of Hawai’i Chief Justice, Sanford Dole, as first and only president. Was this legal? In 1895, some 19 nations of the world officially recognized the Republic. Queen Lili’uokalani did as well. She formally abdicated the throne, and signed her official agreement to recognize the Republic as the legitimate government in the islands. Kings and queens have power; they also have responsibility to the people. Sometimes they must go to war to defend their kingdoms; sometimes they must be willing to die. That is the awesome responsibility of royalty. Kamehameha knew this. He fought. His children and descendants did not. Lydia was not willing to fight. She was not willing to die for the people. She agreed to officially recognize the legitimacy of the Republic of Hawai’i.

Officials of the Republic wanted USA protection. Russia had forts in the islands. Japan and China showed interest. There was no gold, silver or diamonds in the islands. Strategic value of Hawai’i was mid-point location in northern Pacific. USA had acquired Pearl Harbor for military purposes by treaty with the kingdom in 1875. USA therefore was receptive to Republic of Hawai’i leaders requesting protection. USA didn’t want other nations to be encouraged to take the islands. Local people and Kanaka could not defend against more powerful nations. Officials of the Republic of Hawai’i, the legitimate government in the islands — as Queen Lili’uokalani and some 19 nations declared — sought territorial protection. USA action was legal and legitimate.

With the defeat of Spain in 1898, USA extended territorial protection to Puerto Rico, Philippines and Hawai’i. Puerto Rico remains a protected territory today. The people have voted to join USA a number of times. Local population is divided. USA respects their decision. Filipinos immediately declared war over the decision. Fought for decades. However, in WWII, Japan overran the islands, as USA had feared. Filipinos now joined with Americans to push out Imperial Japan. Japanese killed 100,000s of Filipinos in a brutal campaign to conquer the islands. Imperial Japan also murdered some 25 MILLION Chinese and turned Korean women into sex slaves for their male troops. Imperial Japan committed genocide across the Pacific, had attacked Pearl Harbor, and likely would have killed all Kanaka without USA protection. Imperial Japan would have loved to own these islands.

Post-WWII, with the defeat of Imperial Japan, USA granted Filipinos independence in 1946. They remain an independent nation today. In Hawai’i, people were divided. There was a large Home Rule Party in the territory, but they were fragmented and politically ineffective. The last prince of the Kingdom of Hawai’i, Jonah Kūhiō Kalanianaʻole, left the Home Rule Party in frustration. He joined with Republicans in the islands. “The Prince” was elected by local people to serve in the US Congress. This election was legal and legitimate.

The Prince successfully championed legislation in the US Congress that promised Kanaka 99-year leases on homes. The Prince also called for Hawai’i to become a US state in 1920. The Prince represented the people of Hawai’i, as well as the Royal family. His statements were therefore legitimate, legal and official. In 1959, local people voted to join the US as the 50th state, with some 93% of voters saying YES to statehood. The vote was legal, legitimate and official.

You may not like the decision. We live in democratic Constitutional Republic. There are decisions we like; some we don’t like. These decisions however are legal and legitimate. For you to teach your son hatred, to disrespect these legitimate, legal actions, is irresponsible and cruel. Kamehameha used violence to conquer the islands. He is the only one to kill and murder Polynesian people. He violated the RIGHTS of local people. They did not seek his rule. And by fighting against him for 20-30 years, they proved that they did not want his reign over the islands. His use of force, therefore, was wrong and unjust.

A wiser Kamehameha would have sought a peaceful unification of the islands. He might have rallied local Polynesian communities to join together and keep out foreign interests. He didn’t. History is history now. He killed powerful chiefs and great warriors. He divided to unify the island chain under his sole rule. Kanaka learned to bow and submit to the authority of kings and queens.

Americans, on the other hand, booted the king from North America. They refused to submit and bow to his rule. They sought FREEDOM — they demanded self-determination and self-rule. You are free to claim not to be an AmeriKKKan. You champion a king who murdered people to force them under his thumb. Americans gave Kanaka freedom beginning in 1826. Kanaka could have fought for self-rule; could have kept foreigners out. The monarchy invited outsiders. Kanaka population around 1780 was some 800,000+. Due to Kamehameha’s wars and disease from outsiders invited to the islands by the monarchy, Kanaka population collapsed some 95% to about 40,000 by 1900. The monarchy destroyed the Kanaka, as they pursued riches, fame and glory. They cared about their Royal families, not the ordinary people.

America is about The People … WE THE PEOPLE formed our government. Not perfect, but we work to make our nation more perfect each day. Democracy is messy, but you have the right to protest in America. Had you protested a king or queen, you would have been beheaded.

So, in sum, your final statement is flawed, false and incorrect, “the annexation was illegal, immoral and we deserve the right to deport these ameriKKKans back home like they do other people.” The annexation was legal — approved by the official, legitimate local government. You do not DESERVE any right to deport people from the islands.

You actively claim “Teach em young, we are NOT ameriKKKans.” Your behavior amounts to Child Abuse. You fill your son’s head, and heads of others, with anger, resentment and hatred. You hurt their futures. You ensure they are unlikely to do well in school, likely to end up in low-paying jobs, and therefore, will one day be forced to leave the islands, as they cannot survive financially here.

The history is clear that Hawai’i is a legitimate, legal state in the United States of America. You are FREE to claim otherwise — but you harm only you, your family and the small Kanaka population. The USA is a land of golden opportunity. You are FREE to worship as you like, FREE to have opinions as you like. You are FREE to live long, prosperous lives in pursuit of happiness. Hatred will only eat up your heart, soul and family. I would suggest rethinking your position. A mind is a terrible thing to waste!

    2. aloha. ignore the creator of this website. it’s pretty opinion biased which is disappointing, and I quit trying to give them information without opinionated biased, but they wouldn’t listen. I do not think we need to deport them, but we do have the right to fight against the wrongs. we need to educate them, and if they do not feel they want to, they can simply leave. I wouldn’t fight back with the creator of this, I tried. they are either not too educated or truthful in all honesty. just really really biased/opinionated. also, to add on that, they are what imma just call “white supremacist”. a hui hou.

      1. Aloha e Keao ~ is it sad that you deny history and facts. You claim it is “biased opinion,” but add no facts to counter facts. You have provided no facts at all. You now claim you, the Kanaka, have the right to FIGHT against the wrongs. The ONLY person in the islands who wronged the Polynesian people was Kamehameha. He killed, murdered, and used weapons of mass destruction on the Kanaka. He taught your ancestors to submit and bow to monarchy. You still bow before his statue today. Kamehameha conquered the Kanaka. You live as a conquered people still today.

In debate or discussion, when one party cannot add facts, but only relies on Ad Hominem attacks against the other, they have lost. You wrote, “they are either not too educated or truthful in all honesty.” These are attacks on the writer, not facts. You added, “just really really biased/opinionated.” Again, attacks on the writer, not fact. And lastly, “also, to add on that, they are what imma just call ‘white supremacist’.” Again, another vicious and malicious Ad Hominem attack on the person who took the time to provide a factual history for all to read. You provide no facts. You simply slander and libel the writer. If the Kanaka want to be a great people, they must look at their own history honestly. Blaming others, attacking others, calling others names is not greatness. It’s shameful and brings dishonor to the Kanaka. Be better!

      2. you have barely brought facts…your a white supremacist as you have shown, you have not backed what you have said with any historical documents and I have found little proof of your exaggeration. what I say is facts, you attack my people and culture. your name of your sight does not match your articles, so I suggest changing it. as I said all those months ago, a hui hou!!!

      3. Aloha e Keao ~ yes, I provided facts. You expressed only opinion. As you cannot best me in logic, reason or historical facts, you now claim I am a “white supremacist.” LOL. When someone plays the race card in a discussion today, ALL KNOW that individual has lost. You attack your own culture. You claim you cannot succeed in this modern world. You blame others for the failure you have inflicted on yourself, family and ‘Ohana. History is clear. When British Captain James Cook arrived on Kaua’i in 1778, there were an estimated 800,000+ Kanaka. Due to the wars of Kamehameha and disease brought to the islands by outsiders invited by the Kanaka monarchy, only 40,000+ remained in 1893 … annexation by the USA, territorial protection and statehood SAVED the Kanaka. Today, there are some 650,000+ Kanaka in Hawai’i and USA mainland.

I do not however think you and your immediate family are going to make it. People must be strong in our complex global economy. Those who prefer to blame others for their lot in life go extinct. Nature abhors weakness. And Kanaka who blame others are weak. Asians have proven how to be successful in the islands. Most came as indentured servants (slaves). Kanaka were always far better off. Asians are prospering. They work hard in school, they land good paying jobs, they are building for the future. You blame, complain and whine. You teach your keiki to hate. You do not want to learn in school. You seek handouts and welfare. You want others to GIVE YOU, GIVE YOU and GIVE YOU. Such behavior is weakness. Kanaka of Kamehameha were strong, proud warriors and people. Kamehameha would shed tears seeing how weak the Kanaka have become. Thank you for the discussion. The world now sees the weakness of Kanaka culture. Be better!
