Please Pray for Mel Lee. She Was a CoVidiot

Millions of people across America are throwing a tantrum about wearing a simple cloth face mask or stepping up to get a vaccine shot. Let’s be clear about one thing: NOBODY wants to do either. NOBODY wants this SARS-CoV-2 virus to continue disrupting our lives.

However, nature has dealt us this hand. Each generation is presented with challenges. The Greatest Generation faced a massive depression and World War II. They suffered food shortages, loss of income, and loss of blood, limb and life. Collectively, they worked together bravely and civilly. They were victorious.

Sadly, in just 70 years, we’ve fallen from the greatest to the Most Selfish Nation. Our world is dominated by a “ME, ME, ME” attitude. Few would say WE are winning. Lost is the shared idealism of John Kennedy:

Ask not what this country can do for you. Ask what you can do for this country.

Today on social media, Mel Lee made a desperate request to friends and family members. She now has COVID19. She’s from Idaho. Many in the state refuse mask or vaccine. Not uncommon. There is a large contingency of KKK-type supremacists and anti-federal government extremists in the state.

UPDATE 10.13.2021: Mel reports on her current condition.

Mel Lee sense of smell just went. Getting interesting.

Rebecca Pratt responded: Can you still taste?? When I had it, I lost both and for fun I popped popcorn! Absolutely could not smell or taste it!! Weirdest thing ever!

Idaho is known for independent living. People cherish their rugged, self-reliant lifestyles. I lived there for years. Beautiful place. This culture helped me to be a strong leader. I also trust science.

Mel Lee: Search for the beauty within and you shall find it everywhere.

Mel Lee. A kind, compassionate soul. She recommends all “Search for the beauty within and you shall find it everywhere.” Yes, beautiful !!!

However, Mel isn’t feeling very beautiful at this time. She’s very sick with COVID19. She’s from Dillon, Montana. Studied at Idaho State University and currently lives in Pocatello.

Mel Lee tests positive for COVID-19

Mel wrote:

I need to say this....today I tested positive for Covid. I am very very ill. I wasn't vaccinated but not because of any reason other than I "just didn't get around to it". I can tell every single person right now....this shit is NO JOKE!!!

I was absolutely fine up until yesterday morning at 4 am. I woke up to a really weird metallic taste in my mouth and the weirdest headache I have ever had. By yesterday afternoon.....it hit hard. I've been running a temp that began at 102.8 but dropped to 101.4. This morning I was able to get it down to 99.0 for exactly less than an hour.

I went to the doctor's and received my test results and a 45 minute reality check from my doctor. My lungs are pretty good and my oxygen sats are at 97 percent. I am now on blood thinners because I am at risk for blood clots. The metal plate and screws in my leg are not my friend right now. My doctor told me that I need to be up and moving around every hour to prevent the clots.

I have also started a controversial therapy regimen to help. My temperature is now almost 103.00 and I can't get it down. I am taking zinc and loads of vitamin C.

I am telling you all this.....this is NO DAMN JOKE!!!! I sat in my car at the doctor's office just bawling my eyes out. This hit me fast and hard.....it hasn't just become about recovery.....it's about surviving.

I am in full quarantine for the next 8 days if my symptoms decrease. I am monitoring myself round the clock.

This is hell and I wouldn't wish it on anyone. I've never been more scared in my entire life. Please everyone....can you say some prayers for me?? I need all the help that I can get.

Thank you

I don’t know how you are still alive outside of the fact that you are one badass woman. I absolutely admire and respect you so much. I have nothing but complete love for you

Fortunately, for the time, Mel is doing a bit better

Mell tells friends her fever is down ... for the moment

Mel warns others: This is my COVID life … do you really want this for yourselves??? It sucks

Don’t be a CoVidiot. Mask up indoors around others; get vaccinated.
