Elle posted today that MAGA RETARDS are spending some $150,000 per person per year to incarcerate illegal immigrants, totally over $450M per year. Comparatively, it costs only $2,245 per person per year to feed a poorer American on SNAP or food benefits.
Where’s Elle been all these years? During my PhD program, I provided criminal justice research for the State of New Mexico in the late 1990s. In 2000, Republican Governor Gary Johnson used my economic analysis showing it cost the state over $50,000 per person per year to incarcerate a young Brown or Black male for simple possession of cannabis (marijuana). Those figures are closer to $150,000 today.
Governor Johnson called to legalize cannabis. Democratic WOKE women shot us down calling us stoners and potheads. Democrats legalized cannabis in New Mexico 2021. Cost the state billions of dollars to wait. Democrats destroyed 10,000s of lives with their self-righteous and pious political policies. Many WOKE women stood against our efforts in Hawai’i to legalize cannabis two years ago.
