Let me be clear. Bumping victims from hotel to hotel, leaving them in cars, forcing them onto beaches, couches of friends or into shelters was a disaster. Hawai’i residents can turn any space into a home. They simply need stability. The chaos created by Josh Green destroyed our ‘ohana. The greed of Josh Green and HEO CEO Shelee Kimura left victims destitute and homeless.
Kimura failed to turn off the power. Josh Green defended Kimura and Hawaiian Electric executives who had donated generouly to his gubernatorial campaign. HECO rewarded Kimura with multiple raises. They FAILED the victims of Lahaina, primarily Filipinos, and tragically Filipinas.
Khara and Nadezna claim 16% of Lahaina fire survivors that they surveyed engaged in survival sex or sex acts in exchange for food, clothing, money, and housing after the fire. Sad. Tragic. Who’s fault is it? Homeland Security Director Kristi Noem used their report to justify eliminating FEMA.
Morgan Stapp, 32-year-old mother of seven, allegedly sent a Snapchat message to an unidentified man on November 1, 2024, offering the sexual assault of her daughter for $400.
“Half now rest after I’ll send my address I do live alone, and her dad is not in the picture,” the message reportedly said. FEMA had nothing to do with Stapp’s decision. FEMA was not responsible for the hardship victims faced in Lahaina. Khara and Nadezna refuse to BLAME local officials. Instead, they defame hard working human beings who are fighting to save Lahaina residents from the failure of locals.
Met a top FEMA director told my wife and I he had 4,000+ under his command. Needed local staff and offered us jobs if we could move to Maui. Wasn’t possible for us. Spoke many times to one of his employees — compassionate Black woman. We ended up in our elevator together after months of work. She looked exhausted. “Seven days per week, over 10 hours per day. So much destruction. It’s overwhelming,” she said.
I thanked her. She broke into tears. “You’re the first local to thank me. Everyone’s just complaining and criticizing all of us. I can’t do any more! I’m giving everything I can!” Deep, flooding tears were streaming down her face now. “I just want to quit. Thought there was aloha here.” I held her in my arms for a long time. I cried with her.
The president wants to end the federal response and return recovery efforts to states. Small states could never afford such a massive recovery response. Earlier today, in a discussion about politicizing the tragic flood disaster in Texas, Phil Cook took issue with my condemnation of red-state Texas officials. They refused to raise taxes to pay for sophisticated advanced warning systems, and FELON RAPIST 47 cut NWS and NOAA funding and staff. These political decisions by greedy, rich billionaires killed Americans. They failed their #1 obligation to PROTECT & DEFEND this nation and our people. FUCK THESE OFFICIALS !!!
Phil wrote, “I wish you wouldn’t talk about Benjamin Franklin that way. Our founding fathers were so much worse than anyone who has been president in our lifetimes. Unfortunately, we’re going to hear more and more about these deaths and injuries as homeowners, businesses and government place solar panels on rooftops and elevated structures. There is an absence of common sense in our nation at this time.
Apparently Just Actually LLC participated in blocking the scientific research observatory TMT (Thirty Meter Telescope) planned for Mauna Kea. Chile was awarded the billions of dollars in research funding, technological education for children and students, and international recognition and scientific advancement. I’ll wager Stacey and her pals at Just Actually LLC didn’t know King David Kalākaua in 1880s commissioned a British scientific expedition to begin preparation for an observatory on the summit of Mauna Kea.
The king loved exploring the stars. Was proud of Kanaka Maoli celestial navigation supremacy. Installed a 5″ telescope on the ‘Iolani palace; too much ambient light. Moved the telescope to O’ahu College, renamed Punahou School today. Do our keiki know Hawaiian history? Khara Jabola-Carolus, J.D. and Nadezna Ortega, J.D., Ph.D. candidate, proved they do not.

Stacey went to college. Graduated from Kamehameha Schools on Maui. Such students are supposed to be crème de la crème in Hawai’i. On August 8, 2023, hurricane force winds ripped from northeast Maui to the southwest and ignited an incinerating wildfire of biblical proportions that left at least 102+ human beings torched, including keiki, melted over 2,000 homes and buildings, and was one of the most horrific human-caused disasters in the nation.
Stacey is frustrated with HOA bureaucracy for obstructing her plans to “just hang [a solar setup] in the sun on your balcony” and plug it into any outlet in your apartment. When you move, just unplug it and take it with you (thus, not professionally secured), and there are “no installation costs.”
Again, for those in the back of the class: Bueller??? Not only could such a set up cause a low or high rise fire, strong winds could rip the panel from the balcony, and like a missile fly through the air to destroy property and kill people. Stacey went to college? Must have majored in No Common Sense. Tried to have a reasoned, logical conversation with this arrogant local woman. UNFRIENDED.
Seems to be the solution for many in younger generations. To me they lack courage and are extremely insecure. They step up on their political or social soapbox, puff up their chest, give grand speeches about why the world is all fucked up, and if anyone dares criticize or burst their fragile bubble, they friend — cancel — block — and retreat into their Friend Zone with like minded dunderheads.
