Stan Klos, #35, and Scott Goold, #21, battled daily to make their team better. Scott was a starting guard on this championship team; Stan a critical 6th man. Each made strong, positive contributions to this historic endeavor.

1. “bold and remarkable decision” :: Iran is a SOVEREIGN nation. USA has NO LEGAL right under international law to strike Iran. The president VIOLATED the law.
2. Strike was “long overdue” :: Obama and the world reached an agreement with Iran in 2015 that Iran would NOT develop nuclear weapons. U.S. DNI Tulsi Gabbard reported to the WORLD in March 2025 that Iran was NOT developing nuclear weapons. Your article focused on Saturday’s USA strikes on Iran. For brevity purposes, I would prefer to remain on this topic, rather than wade into the complexities of the Israeli-Palestinian conflict itself.
Point #1: (a) You claim “Publicly vowed to annihilate Israel.” FALSE: This is misinformation. Claim was popularized during the term of Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, Iran’s 6th president (2005-2013). Direct translation from Farsi to English, as Ahmadinejad was quoting Ayatollah Khomeini. He said that “the occupation regime over Jerusalem should vanish from the page of time.” I worked with Dr Juan Cole in 2000s, who provided the accurate translation. (b) You claim, Iran has “Declared itself in a state of war with the U.S. and Israel.” FALSE. Iran has never declared a state of war with the U.S. However, Iran certainly would be justified (see C below).
