We are in cultural Civil War in America, and this battle rages in Europe as well, particularly in England. WOKE vs MAGA. WOKE is dominated by liberal women; MAGA by conservative men. The two tribes are far, far apart. Neither side listens to the other, and angry, blaming, hostile rhetoric spews from both.

Co-host Joy Behar, “The View,” reinforced the divide as she criticized the Democratic Party for spending $20 million to listen to and better understand men.

Joy … guys? Young boys learn from mothers. They go to school where 99% of primary teachers, administrators and staff are female. Majority of middle and high school teachers are female. Why have gals failed to teach our boys?

JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon sounded the alarm about “enemy within” America, which he warned is a bigger threat than China. Dimon speaks primarily about finance, but the enemy within also is our extreme divisions. Can we get our act together?

Lucy Burton Claims the Problem is Young Man

Last week, Lucy Burton, writer for The Telegraph, took her shot at men. The Telegraph’s website marked its 30th anniversary November 2024. Print publication began 1855. Reputable publication for generations. Where is print today however?

Lucy proved she failed science. Science has been the tragic victim in the WOKE vs MAGA war. Emotion, innuendo, slander, misinformation and deception are the weapons in this conflict.

Lucy claimed “porn and gaming sapped young men of their desire to work.” Delusional. Lucy’s conclusions are void of scientific merit. Doesn’t matter to WOKE women; just as factual accuracy doesn’t matter to MAGA RETARDS. Correct! RETARDS. Oh my, did I just use the “r-word”? Special Olympics reported, “The ‘R-Word’ is Back. How a Slur Became Renormalized.”

I served Special Olympics and their amazing athletes for nearly 20 years. Taught special education in public schools. Nobody is directing “retard” toward individuals in this community. Use is political, and MAGA men are retarded. First observed use of “retard” on X, by owner Elon Musk. Many others followed his lead. Libtards, Liberal Retards, has been used for decades.

I’m not a snowflake. Supported Kamala and fight fire with fire. Michelle Obama urged the political Left to “go high when they go low.” Michelle turned down the call to lead, and current leaders have gone Dark Work. Time to stand toe-to-toe with MAGA bullies and FELON RAPIST 47. Nice gals finish second.

Elon, FELON RAPIST 47 and MAGA RETARDS set a new agenda for America. To Make America Great Again, they conspire to end WOKE, DEI, CRT and PC policies. They’ve had enough of snowflakes, cry-babies, victims, and what Elon labels, the “WOKE mind disease.”

Contrast WOKE mind disease with 1980s Ronald Reagan who directed Americans to “pick themselves up by their own bootstraps.” President Reagan appropriated the 19th century phrase to encourage individuals to take initiative and work towards improving their own lives without expecting handouts or favors. Bootstrap’s anti-WOKE. It’s also uniquely American. That’s why most of us migrated here: take initiative, improve our lives and recognize the world does not owe us a living.

Telegraph’s writer, Lucy Burton, claims Young Men are victims of porn and online gaming. False. In her non-scientific opinion, Young Men spend their days looking at naked women, gaming with bros, and have little motivation to work. For many readers, her claim makes sense. We call this confirmation bias. Lucy’s conclusion supports what readers want to believe, although science does not.

Decades ago, the nation claimed “cannabis (marijuana) saps young men of their desire to work.” We all heard such bogus and distorted arguments. Blaming drug use was a convenient lie in a world that shuns inconvenient truths.

Association (Correlation) vs Causation

Any individual educated in statistics and the scientific method recognizes the failure. Less experienced people regularly confuse association or correlation with causation. Causation means one action causes another action to occur. For example, I punch a friend in the nose; my friend’s nose starts to bleed. The punch CAUSED the nose to bleed. Causation. Most understand this “causal” relationship.

Association or correlation claims there is a relationship between two actions without making a statement about the cause. Consider the example of drugs and motivation to work.

Commonly-accepted belief was drugs caused people to lose motivation to work. However, as this relationship is a correlation, not one of causation, the reverse can be claimed as well: loss of work causes people to use drugs. Does A cause B or does B cause A? Or is neither true?

How about a fun example? Which came first — chicken or the egg? There is an association between the chicken and the egg. However, the chicken definitely causes the egg; the egg also causes the chicken. This relationship is therefore a correlation. Maybe god created the chicken and the chicken created the egg. Possible! Science must consider all possible options.

Lucy Burton proved she is a journalist, not an experienced scientist. She wrote, “porn and gaming sapped young men of their desire to work.” This relationship is a correlation. Lucy added, “The rise of easy online entertainment means boys are disappearing into a digital world.” She doesn’t KNOW the rise causes boys to do anything. Misinformation.

Lucy pretends she brilliant, that she has solved all the social problems of Young Men and our world. Eradicate porn and online gaming, she suggests. Young Men will get to work. Life will be peachy. Lucy is a WOKE RETARD.

Lucy might have written, “lack of work causes young men to spend their time watching porn and gaming online.” She wouldn’t be more accurate. Nobody is certain about the cause. However, such a claim would cause Lucy a problem. A WOKE woman would have to stand up for Young Men.

Warren Farrell and John Gray, both PhDs in social behavior, warned about The Boy Crisis in 2018. They asked, “Why Our Boys Are Struggling and What We Can Do About It.” What’s the crisis? The authors hypothesize it’s one of education; one of mental health; one of fathering; and one of purpose. PURPOSE !!! Take away purpose, boys turn to porn and online gaming. Possible!

Had Lucy been educated or ethical, the title to her article could have been, “Why are young men not seeking work?” Ask the question. Let’s look for accurate answers. Lucy is unfortunately a WOKE woman. She preferred WOMANspeak and to disparage young men — to further the convenient lie. Lucy spent 1,000s of words defending her unscientific conclusion. Her article is mostly confirmation bias to support the demeaning of Young Men.

“Sound-bite diagnosis”

Near the end of her lengthy article, Lucy gives the alternative a voice, “But not everyone agrees that online porn and gaming is to blame.” Damage is done however. Most readers read only headlines: “How porn and gaming sapped young men of their desire to work.” Enough for them. Down with porn and online gaming. Fuck lazy Young Men.

The real challenge is far more complex and adds women to the equation. For 50+ years now, American society has super-charged efforts to promote girls and women. Awesome. However, the reality was to bash boys and men! After a half century, millions of Young Men can’t find gainful employment and they believe they do not fit in society.

Social media influencers argue America should deport all illegal immigrants working to build our homes, pick fruits and veggies, and bus tables in restaurants. Young American men should do these jobs. Can they? Most Young Men live in urban areas — not in rural farming areas. Nothing wrong with farm work or construction. I did for many years as a Young Man. Hard work. Builds character.

How come these influencers do not demand Young Women join the work crews? However, Young Men and Young Women aren’t going to work for the low wages of migrant labor. Get out your checkbook!

Ultimately, many Young Men believe they could drop off the planet and nobody would notice or care. In USA, for every ONE man who graduates from college, nearly TWO women will. Women mature more quickly than men. Women tend to be better readers, better at communication and small-group dynamics. These traits help women be more successful in academic pursuit.

Two female friends recently graduated with MBAs from Hawai’i Pacific University. Both are European: one from Norway, other from France. Exceptional people: smart and talented. Have multiple degrees. Both are selling hotdogs ILLEGALLY at the beach. Nobody needs MBAs. They are functionally illiterate. Parents help them financially.

Now you understand the RISE of MAGA !!! MAGA consists of White men fighting for their place in this emerging WOKE space. And MAGA crushed WOKE in Election 2024. White men are dismantling WOKE policies at this time.

Some argue that it’s little wonder young men seek solace online when faced with the depressing reality of unemployment, the exhausting cycle of unsuccessfully applying for low-paid jobs and living at home.

After failing to find a job, some may conclude there is no point even bothering.

Lord Elliott, the former Vote Leave chief who now runs the Jobs Foundation, argues that “blaming worklessness on video games and porn is a sound-bite diagnosis of a serious issue.”

Jonathan Haidt claims online addiction to porn or gaming is the result of the void left by unemployment. The title of the articles shows Lucy didn’t respect Jonathan’s views.

Jobless men write online about feeling stuck in a loop, turning to porn or gaming simply to stave off boredom. However, they often know that finding work could break the cycle.

I suffered a brutal job loss … a wrongful termination by WOKE women. I was suicidal. Spent days and nights standing in my 25th floor window screaming internally to jump. Had no hope; no future. As I’m an addiction counselor, began therapy on myself. Needed a job. Needed a place. Needed an identity. Yet I would never land a job after being fired. I was invisible and worth nothing.

Saved myself by deciding to FIGHT !!! Fight the power that took away my income, healthcare, professional career and self-esteem. Challenged company directors in every possible venue. Didn’t expect to win, but fighting was the winning hand for me. Became a better writer, and much smarter in legal matters. I brought attention to the cruelty and incompetence of WOKE corporate female managers. My efforts even appeared to “cause” a change in management. They took my job; my efforts took some jobs in return.

Lucy Burton caused much pain in Young Men. Her unsophisticated article caused some readers to form inaccurate perceptions about the relationship between porn, online gaming and Young Men. Lucy Burton in her small way caused MAGA to distrust corporate media more; and caused MAGA RETARDS to further disrespect WOKE women.

I wrote to Lucy, May 30, 2025 (below). Hoped to have a professional discussion with her about statistics. She ignored me. Arrogance and insecurity of WOKE women isn’t helpful. Complained to The Telegraph editors, June 1, 2025 (dailydigest@telegraph.co.uk). No response. The Telegraph then asked me to subscribe. I said, “No thank you. Don’t consider The Telegraph to be competent. I learn more for free by reading social media.”

My PhD work focused heavily on statistics. Do you know the difference between Correlation (association) and Causation? I’ve shared these distinctions with my advanced college students for years. Much of my work focused on the War on Drugs in USA. Let me give you an example. I’ll modify the title of your article:

How Cannabis (marijuana) sapped young men of their desire to work. 

You have have heard such claims previously. There is an association between illicit drug use and lack of motivation to work. Causation shows direction: A => B …. A causes B to occur. 

Association does NOT provide the cause or direction. Thus, both can be true:

A => B or B => A

Thus, cannabis might lead young men not to work OR
Lack of work might lead young men to use cannabis. 

Both must be considered possible. Now, let’s use the title of your article.

How porn and gaming sapped young men of their desire to work

Which is it? Did porn and gaming sap young men of their desire to work OR
Was it lack of work that led young men to spend their time watching porn and playing video games

If you’re an HONEST journalist, you will accept that BOTH must be considered. You drew a flawed conclusion:

A => B

Do you see what I am saying? As a man, I am angry that you falsely concluded. Would you like to chat?
