My dad fought in the Korean War. Navy guy. Assembled bombs on the aircraft carrier U.S.S. Kearsarge. She was a long-hulled Essex-class aircraft carrier, launched 5 May 1945, served in the Korean War and Vietnam War then scrapped in 1974.
The U.S. dropped more bombs in the Korean conflict than in any other engagement. Whenever we make progress toward ending hostilities, I’m supportive. Bill North created a thought-provoking image. Deserves to be reposted.
