Stephanie Marie Beeby: The In Flow CEO Who Is Not In Flow

Social media has proven to be a significant destabilizing force in society. When communicating with each other in-person, face-to-face, we have filters that soften or restrain how we speak. Hiding behind a keyboard and communicating virtually removes these filters — and actual character, good and bad, is exposed. Most Americans are disturbed by what we are witnessing, but how do we change this growing cancer of negativity?

I have over 4,000+ connections on Facebook, which is my primary social media platform. I connect with anybody and everybody, as I like to learn from everyone. Have only one rule: friends ONLY with people who are kind and compassionate. People are free to come and go. However, if a friend posts something that comes across MY newsfeed that is unkind or lacking in compassion, I am going to raise an objection.

Stephanie Marie Beeby claims to lives in Kailua-Kona, Hawai’i, and advertises that she develops Emotional Mastery & Intuition in Leaders, to support healthy dynamics in work & life. She posts that she’s a business consultant, the “In Flow CEO” who “helps you Clarify-Energize-Optimize your business focus. Developing inner leadership.” Stephanie Marie Beeby offers both online and in-person classes.

Stephanie Marie Beeby posted a meme that was cruel, condescending and disparaging to men — clearly an unkind comment lacking in compassion — in my professional opinion. I’m also a business consultant, served as a union steward and vice president, certified as a federal mediator, and my focus is bringing workers together and strengthening relations between labor and management.

As Stephanie Marie Beeby advertises herself as a professional, I found her comments to be counter productive to relations between men and women in general, and hurtful to coworkers in the workplace.

My reaction was simple and professional, “Rather than say MEN, why not say COWORKERS?” There was no need for Stephanie Marie Beeby to generalize to MEN. Second, Stephanie Marie Beeby personalized the comment using “I” — thus, demonstrating her “ego” rather than posting a helpful tip for all workers in the workplace. To me, Stephanie Marie Beeby’s meme is destructive rather than constructive.

Stephanie Marie Beeby responded:
Scott Goold — it isn’t a co-worker it is a contractor I work with for a client who is mine not theirs. Why would I say co-worker when they are not? Tell me why you need to tell me what to call a contractor in my own business?

I answered Stephanie Marie Beeby. Then say CONTRACTOR rather than “MEN.” However, a contractor is still a coworker. The sex, gender of the coworker or contractor is irrelevant.

Stephanie Marie Beeby responded:
Scott Goold — again. Feel free to block, unfriend and or hide a post. 🙂 I did not go to your page and leave a comment. I posted on mine. I trust you will care for your energy as you need to. Please respect my boundary to share my experience on my page. It wasn’t a comment against all men. It was a frustration of working with men in my industry who respond defensively to my questions but actually don’t when my Direct boss who is a man shows up and says the exact same damn thing. So yes it was my experience of men in my industry in there contractor position that get offended by me asking questions. Not women in the industry.

Our relationship went from ZERO to negative right there. Stephanie Marie Beeby claimed MEN get offended when she needs to clarify something. I would also claim Stephanie Marie Beeby became offended when I sought to clarify something. Do you agree or not?

Stephanie Marie Beeby now sought to BLOCK, UNFRIEND our relationship. Seems overly defensive and hostile. I’ve heard this comment frequently, “I did not go to your page and leave a comment. I posted on mine.” Stephanie Marie Beeby’s comment came to MY newsfeed, right? She knows this fact. If she posts to her company website, I do not see the comment unless I go to her website. She posts to the newsfeed so others see her comments. She intended for me and others to see her post.

Stephanie Marie Beeby expressed some deep-seated issues toward MEN. As a professional, I deal with similar issues with clients, coworkers and management. However, Stephanie Marie Beeby was responding DEFENSIVELY to my questions. She did what she claims men do to her.

I tried a different approach with Stephanie Marie Beeby. You wrote, “Men who get offended in a biz setting … Let’s not get our ego riled up” What if I said, “Women who get offended in a biz setting … Let’s not get our ego riled up”

Women would be OFFENDED that I specified WOMEN, and they would be correct. If I say COWORKER or CONTRACTOR, I have not demeaned either MEN or WOMEN, but simply made my point. Your comments came across MY NEWSFEED. I do not appreciate MY FRIENDS demeaning others. I am ONLY friends with people who are Kind and Compassionate.

If my standard is unacceptable to you, you are FREE to unfriend. I seek a BETTER world between people. There is NO reason to attack MEN or WOMEN in this post.

Stephanie Marie Beeby responded:
Scott Goold — if that was your experience — I would validate it is true for you. I wouldn’t defend or tell you to edit your comment. If that is your experience then it is real for you. I am not offended if you said all the women in my life.. XYX.. if I get offended it is because I am one of those women and taken it way too personal.

I commented to Stephanie Marie Beeby:
You responded, “It wasn’t a comment against all men. It was a frustration of working with men in my industry …” AGAIN, you are generalizing ALL MEN in your industry. You suggested ONE CONTRACTOR initially, who apparently was a male.

I do not block, unfriend or hide posts. Your comments came across MY NEWSFEED. It’s YOUR RIGHT to post; it’s also MY RIGHT to comment on posts that come across my newsfeed.

You are speaking about a work situation. You are speaking about men, who in your opinion, are DEFENSIVE, but YOU are speaking behind their back or backs.

If you have issues with a man or men in your industry, a CONFIDENT experienced professional would speak to this one person or multiple people in person. Slandering “somebody” on social media is passive aggressive and cowardly. You have indicted them, charged them, but you do not allow this individual or these men to DEFEND their actions.

And, I now claim YOU responded DEFENSIVELY to my comment. Rather than speak behind your back, I am stating to you directly that your behavior is UNCIVIL and UNPROFESSIONAL.

I’m a union steward. If you made this comment in the workplace, management could “write you up,” and I would not be able to defend you. I would simply try to get you a lesser penalty or suspension.

Stephanie Marie Beeby concluded:
Scott Goold — you are welcome to leave my page. I am not posting on yours. 🙂 it is my house and I can talk however I would like. Never need your permission.

Nita Beeby claims to be a mom, grammy and healthy human! Says she went to Amador Valley High School, Pleasanton, and is from Pleasanton, California. She chipped in:
Stephanie Marie Beeby — Good for you Steph 😍

Nita Beeby insulted me:
Stephanie Marie Beeby — he is such an ass ♥️

Stephanie Marie Beeby held a conversation about me “behind my back”:
Nita Beeby — well he seems to be taking offense to my experience.. then telling me I should use different words. I can’t imagine going to someone’s post on their page and doing that to anyone except men think they can.. it is nuts. 🥜

Nita Beeby continued to insult, ridicule and disparage me:
Stephanie Marie Beeby — he’s a ‘know it all.’ He has a problem with control I think!! Telling you what you ‘should’ have said!!!! 🤪😍

Stephanie Marie Beeby agrees and gaslights:
Nita Beeby — crazy right? Not sure I can be surprised though..

Stephanie Marie Beeby concludes the conversation with her last word, then UNFRIENDED and BLOCKED me:
Scott Goold — I can actually say whatever I want.. why are you feeling offended right now?!. And I have never had a woman independent contractor get offended with my questions in 20 years. So it has been men.

Stephanie Marie Beeby is a TEACHER?

I’m a 3rd generation teacher — working in middle school, high school, special education and the university environment. I would be horrified to find out Stephanie Marie Beeby was the teacher of my keiki. Would immediately transfer my child to another classroom. I would also file a complaint with her principal and superintendent about her negative views toward men that she posts in public.

I do not consider Stephanie Marie Beeby to be emotionally healthy to lead a classroom — particularly STEM when our objective is to strengthen relations between boys and girls in traditionally male-dominated fields.

Stephanie Marie Beeby advertises herself as a “Healthy Dynamics Coach & Emotional Mastery Facilitator at In Flow CEO.” As a professional, I consider her description to be false advertising. I do not believe Stephanie Marie Beeby to be a “healthy” dynamics coach or “emotional master.”

This encounter demonstrated that Stephanie Marie Beeby poorly “facilitated” our conversation. I notified Stephanie Marie Beeby that I planned to review her professional behavior publicly. Stephanie Marie Beeby did not respond.
